"Well, well," Adora said in a superior voice. "If it isn't the *cute* couples from my favorite animes."
On the living room was Kurama, Hiei, Duo, and Heero all sitting down away from each other, either looking at the floor or looking at the ceiling. Even though the four of them would be the best of friends, (how they became best friends, that I don't know myself... but just pretend they are okay?) they still act as if they never met each other their whole lives. Adora smiled to herself as she sat down on a chair nearby and attended to the guests.
"Just why did you call us here for anyway?" Hiei asked in his usual, cold tone.
"Why're you asking me? I didn't even call for you here," Adora said confusingly.
All of them fell over.
"If you didn't call for us, then WHO did?" Duo asked.
It was then that Cherry popped out in the living room like magic and smiled at the four bishonens. "I'll answer that for you. I was the one who called you here."
"For what purpose?" Kurama asked.
"I'm already tired of you guys!" Cherry announced.
"Tired? What do you mean tired?" Duo asked.
"It's because you always deny the way you feel about each other and I can't take the pressure any longer! Worse than that, you always deny to yourselves the way you feel about someone! So if you won't start the talking, I will!" Cherry finally announced.
All the boys groaned in agony.
Adora whistled. "Looks like this will get pretty interesting..."
The curious girl looked around and turned to a certain person to start with. "Take for instance Hiei."
This got the koorime's attention who was not really listening until now. "Why me?"
"Adora and I know how much you respect and ADORE Kurama. C'mon Hiei, all of us here are friends. Don't be shy to tell us your innermost secrets! What are friends for anyway?" Cherry said in a teasing voice.
Duo winced and slapped his forehead. "Bad move, Cherry! You're history now."
"How dare YOU!!!" Hiei cried. He unsheathed his katana and started swinging it around. The others ducked as they might have a chance to be beheaded if they went in the way.
"Cherry, run while you still can!" Adora advised as she looked from an outraged Hiei to a bewildered Cherry.
She was about to get the hell out of there when she stopped. She was the author here! She was in control, not some pesky little demon. And she could do whatever she wanted with him. No one bosses her around and she meant it!
"Adora, throw me my notebook!" Cherry yelled at her friend while grabbing a pen from her pocket. Adora was puzzled to what her friend was about to do but she did it anyway. Catching the notebook, Cherry opened it up and tried to think of what to write. But looking at Hiei and his katana, she just eeped and scribbled down a few lines nervously.
"Kurama, I've never seen you so beautiful than you do in this exact moment," Hiei announced. "You truly are perfection in both forms. I wanted to tell you this a long time ago but, I love you more than life itself."
Heero looked at Hiei in amazement. Duo's mouth hanged open. Adora looked from Cherry, to Hiei, and back, astounded. After a few more moments of eerie silence, all of them ended up laughing.
Kurama looked at Hiei, his cheeks as red as his hair. Hiei was horrified. He looked at Kurama then glared evilly at Cherry.
"What did you make me do?!" Hiei demanded to know.
Cherry blinked innocently and looked away from him. "What did *I* just do? I made you spill out your feelings, that's what!"
Duo was laughing so hard that he fell from his chair and started to roll all over the floor, tears of joy welling up in his eyes. Heero grabbed a laptop out of nowhere and started to type up the words Hiei had just said a while ago, giggling all over again. Adora was also laughing so hard that she tried to control herself before she becomes the next target.
"Hey, wait a minute." Heero said as he grabbed Duo by the back of his shirt. "We're still too young for yaoi, right?"
"I know," Duo said, smiling. "But this scene is just too great to ignore!"
Heero couldn't have agreed more.
"I... I also love you Hiei," Kurama said in a small, hesistant, almost inaudible voice and quickly looked away.
Cherry managed to stop laughing for a while and tried to concentrate on what Hiei should say next.
"I am nothing without you. You are everything to me. You are the source of my will to fight and never give up. You lighten up my dull, boring, and otherwise meaningless days and nights with your smiles, words, and warmth. You are my precious jewel, the topping on top of my sweet ice, the wind beneath my wings, the heartbeat in my chest..."
Adora was now laughing as hard as Duo was that she fell down, pounding on the floor. Heero was giggling harder than ever that he still managed to type without giving in and laughing.
Cherry's eyes were welling up with tears of joy. She was laughing so hard that her sides were beginning to ache. She couldn't write another word of this heart-wrenching, passionate scenario.
"YOU WITCH!!!" Hiei yelled and ran after the author with his katana. Seeing that the notebook was out of Cherry's reach, Adora grabbed a pen nearby and scribbled down a few lines herself.
"Are you sure you're supposed to run around wearing *that*?" Adora asked.
Hiei's face changed from rage to bewilderment as he looked down. Instead of his usual all-black outfit, he was now wearing a light blue, spaghetti-strapped, mini-sundress. Spikey hair was replaced with shoulder-length locks. He also had purple eyeshadow, pink lipstick, and red blush.
Kurama gazed at Hiei in awe. "Hiei?" he whispered, slightly blushing.
"Who cares about all the other girls?" Duo exclaimed. "You make all of them look like MEN, Hiei!"
Hiei scowled and gritted his teeth slowly. Now instead of Cherry, he went after Adora instead. "What.... have you DONE to ME?!?!"
"Well, I just thought that I would continue Cherry's fun on torturing you so that you'll tell the truth. You know Hiei, you make a really pretty girl. Even prettier than Kurama." Adora commented, giggling.
Kurama snorted. "I am not a GIRL! How many times do I have to say that?!"
"WHY DON'T YOU JUST GET THIS @#$%^& DRESS OFF ME?!?!"
"Really, and in front of our audiences?" Adora and Cherry scolded at him.
Duo finally managed to get up from the floor and control his laughter. "Maybe Kurama would want to volunteer and help you get out of that dress, Hiei," he suggested, snickering.
"Good one, Duo!" Adora said, laughing.
Hiei started to give Adora his if-you-don't-get-me-back-I'll-summon-Kokuryuuha glare. She grumbled. "Oh all right! I'll change you back-"
"Only if you promise to tell the truth!" Cherry cutted in.
"YES, JUST GET THIS THING OFF ME!!!"
"Maybe you should be wearing it all the way to the end so we'll know you won't lie," Heero finally said.
"AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!"
"Okay Kurama, tell the truth now!" Duo said gamely.
It had been more than 30 minutes since they started. Adora had to find the exact words she needed to transform Hiei back to his old self. But it had also been more than 30 minutes that Kurama wouldn't speak.
"Tell the truth, tell the truth," Duo said childishly, prancing around the living room as if it were a game.
"Okay Kurama, one last time: do you love Hiei or not?" Cherry repeated.
Kurama struggled to speak. The effect of seeing his dear little koorime in a dress did make a profound impact on him.
"I... uh...." he started. He looked over at Hiei under his lashes.
Adora slumped on her seat and yawned. "Are you going to answer the question, or are you just going to stare at Hiei all day?"
Hiei looked at Kurama and raised an eyebrow. Kurama blushed and once again, looked at the floor.
"Are you going to answer the question anytime soon?" Cherry asked impatiently.
"O-Oh... the question. Well, to start it off, I have known Hiei for quite some time and I have to say that I admire him secretly. And also-"
"Cut to the crap and answer the damn question!" Heero finally spat out.
Kurama snorted. "FIne then, if that's the way you want it then I'll answer it! So I love him, now you all happy?"
Silence.
"WOO HOO!!!" All of them exclaimed and then did a victory dance.
"Now that we know the truth about this two youkais, who do you think is next?" Adora asked with a hint of mischievousness in her voice.
Duo and Heero started to back away.
"AHA!" Cherry said. "The Gundam pilots!"
"Uh-oh..."
