Have you ever made a wish? Is it about something you want so badly, like a toy, a piano, a car or a house? Yet, do you believe in your wish, such as those you made when you saw a shooting-star? And have you ever made a wish about seeing your loved ones again? In CLAMP's manga Wish, the wish is about being together with a loved one, who has gone far, far away...

The story is about a man who has saved an angel.  To repay his kindness, the angel has decided to help the man to realize a wish. However, being a surgeon and getting used to living by himself, the man thinks he does not need it. But the angel does not give up and is determined to stay with him until he thinks of a wish, as the angel believes:

Surely, there must be WISH not realized alone.
