PERSONAL INFO

Clement was born just like any other boy, he had a normal childhood: played soccer (as a goalkeeper), had good grades at school, enjoy being with family and had plenty of friends. He scored a high UAI and entered law in UNSW........ but from then on..... his life changed............

One day, during his routine trip back home after a tough day at uni, Clement was struck by a blinding white light... he didn't know what it was but it knocked him unconscious. He was rushed to hospital, the doctors took scans of his body and realised his brain activity were abnormally high, to the point of near explosion! They had to perform surgery on him immediately... Clement was within the brink of death but he survived; the doctors performed a miracle and he was saved... but what was that blinding white light? He did not remember what happened when he was in surgery... but remembered that in his dreams, a Goddess had reached out to him and pulled him away from the clutches of death... he doesn't remember what this Goddess looks like but remembers the warmth he felt as she dragged him away from certain death....

When Clement woke up.... he felt different... obviously, he had suffered an acute hemorrhage in his brain, but have now recovered.... yet there was something different but not.... things he could do before (like deriving the Black-Scholes model in his head), he now can't... but things he couldn't do before, he now can (like seeing everything in life in terms of finance theory).... He did not realised the full extent of his new-found powers until his next finance exam... despite having special consideration, he finished the exam in under 15 mins.... it was like, everything related to finance was already inside his brain and his arms and fingers were working at super-human speed!

Having now understood what he has become, he has turned himself into a super-hero. A normal uni student by day and a [corporate] crime-fighting super hero by night, using his finance tools as weapons... he has been the mysterious protector of the City of Sydney.............. he is Finance-Boy

So how was it that Rene Rivkin was caught for insider trading? ASIC had a tip-off from Finance-Boy! All evidence of Rivkin's insider-trading exploits mysteriously appeared on the desk of the ASIC Chairman during one stormy night....

Clement still doesn't know the full extent of his powers and many mysteries continue to trouble him: Why was he given these super-powers? Who is this Goddess that plagues his dream every night? What does she want? What was that blinding white light that he saw? Why is the Evil Mahjong Mark obstructing his every move? How come he loses all his super powers when he is in the presence of women from the Northern parts of China? Are such women his Kryptonite? What about the Financial Threesome, led by the mysterious-named TC (and his side-kicks LC and SY), are they allies or enemies?

Clement knows that the road ahead will be difficult, but he also understands that with great power comes great responsibilities... He will continue his duties as the [corporate] crime-fighitng super-hero............  and one day, he will find his Goddess and realise why he has been gifted/cursed with these powers.... 

....................and so the legend of this finance hero continues....................
