Sugi tried to sneak out of his room as quiet as he could. He looked on the left and the right until he was sure on one would see him. He headed toward the stairs.
"Where are you going, son?" said a calm voice.
Sugi turned around to see Toshi stood behind him. Arms folded.
"tou-san"
"Where do you think you're goin'?" Toshi asked with unchanged tone.
"I... I just want to go for a walk"
"At this time? 11:00 p.m.??"
"errr I want to do a night walk. I heard that somewhere a new marvelous pub was just opened near the Crescent point"
"Really?"
"Yeah"
Toshi raised his voice. Sugi tried to avoid facing his father.
"Let me tell you something, you fool"
Sugi looked up at Toshi face not understand what his father mean.
"If you want to go see that brat's son, it was useless"
Sugi stunned by his father word.
"Wh... What do you mean?"
Toshi lips shaped into a smile and laughed softly.
"The news spreads out like bee flying out from net"
"What news?"
Sugi asked hurriedly, annoyed.
"Hide is going to marry off his beloved son" Toshi said with a smile "Your darling is going to engage to someone else"
"To Whom?" Voice breaking.
"Don't be silly!!!! You know that person well. Your old friend. Your beloved Ryu is going to marry Hakuei!!!!"
Sugi's heart sunk. He leaned against the wall, stunned. Eyes staring forward.
Toshi laid his hand on the pink haired shoulder.
"Give up, son. It's useless. Your dream will not come true"
No answer.
The blonde haired man thought this time he could end up the relationships between Sugi and his forever enemy's son. He warned more.
"They will announced the engagement tomorrow in the dinner party" Toshi continued and leaned forward.
"You can't do anything"
Laughed triumphantly, the blonde haired man left his son in the dark corner of the house.

Before the party
A black haired man stormed into the room where Hide and the taller man were talking about the party. Disturbed by his son's appearance, the head of the house said without looking to his son's direction.
"I though I've taught you many times how gentlemen should behave, Ryu" Hide said while blew out the smoke from mouth.
The slim figure gritted his teeth. Losing his impatient, Ryu burst out his anger.
"Dad, look for what you've done. I couldn't remember for when did I say I'll going to engage to Hakuei"
Hakuei moved to explain to Ryu but Hide lifted his arm up to stop him.
"You can't decide who are you going to marry. You're my son"
Hide replied coldly, expressionless.
"What !!!! I'm a human being. I've my own right!!!! You should respect my decision!!!" Ryu yelled out.
"If you think I can't marry to Sugi because we are the same sex. What about Hakuei? Isn't he a man?" He groaned.
Hide's red lips curved up into a smile he took a glance at Ryu and said.
"Sure.... son.... I respect you decision" He walked toward the TV monitor in the room and pressed the green button.
"Wait! Hide-sama!" Hakuei tried to stop Hide.
Ryu was shocked by the picture appeared on the screen. He felt his heart sunk. There was a picture of a pink haired man tied with thick rope prisoned in a damp cell. Ryu knew exactly what this place was. The place where Hide used to torture his prisoners. And Sugi was there!!!!!!
Hide's lips concealed smile. He knew this time Ryu couldn't refuse his offer.
"Your prince visited us lately last night. But.." Hide shook his head
"He should carefully watched his way"
The red haired man narrowed his eyes.
"It's depend on your decision, Ryu"
Ryuichi, unable to move, looked at Hakuei who avoid their eyes met. Yes, his father won. Ryu, with his nails sank in to his while flesh, said.
"Don't hurt him"

Silence fell over the room after Hide and his guards' departure leaving only two figure behind, speechless.
"You shouldn't follow every of my father's orders"
It was Ryu who spoke out, getting up.
"We're not lovers!You should not betray your heart. Why don't your own life?" he continued.
The blonde hair slightly moved his lips and finally replied in a distant voice.
"I did"
"What?" Ryu looked into those beautiful eyes.
"I tried to follow my mind"
There was a pause.
"What do you mean?"
"I love you, Ryu. I've grown to love you since we were children...."
"Are you out of your mind? You don't have to lie me because of my father's word" Ryu moved away.
"A lie? What is the lie? I mean it, Ryu!" Hakuei embraced Ryu drawing him closer. He looked straightly into Ryu's eyes. Ryu was shocked by the sudden act of his friend.
"Wha..Ha.."
Ryu's voice faded away by Hakuei's kiss.
