Well for all you Michiganders and snowbound people these are what Bass look like can't wait huh! Its been a long hard winter here in Michigan and eleswere I thought this might make you think warm thoughts it is the beginning of March here and the lakes are starting to thaw out. It gets a young mans thoughts thinking about??????? Thats right fishing.... what did you think I was going to say. I caught these nice fish and 8 more last summer at Sherman Lake which lies between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo on M-89 right across the street from Gull Lake. This lake is not as congested as gull and has a real nice public acess site with plenty of parking, and a real nice all around fishery...the water color there is clear with a little green tint to it with a few spots with real nice drop offs and points and numerous docks and other structures. The one on the left was caught on a spider grub green pumpkin is the color it was casted up by the trees because Bass love shade and cover, the one on the right was caught on a Manns minus (-1) baby Bass color there is a point and a break with a drop off there a nother good Bass hide out. I found out that these other lurers produce well also here Storm thunderstick, Zoom centipead if you want to know the colors and a couple of hot spots you can e-mail me Bucannan34@yahoo.com for more information. further more I am not endorsing any lures or manufactures these are what I use..... And all fish were thrown back to live long and get bigger for next year. |
