My Son Epheral | |||||||
My son Epheral ate a banana He closed the patio door behind him and spoke to the cranes on his wall I took the yellow peel and dropped it to float down the stream and sent my own life after it Epheral is my lover when i look out the car windows he touches my hair i can't anticipate his fingers so each brush newly reminds me of his presence i feel him loking at me with his mouth open i won't move because to see him will reveal his humanity to me i feel above the earth at the moment Epheral took me on a road trip we tagged government buildings before praying to eachother by the river head to head he prayed to me and asked me to save the peel this time |
