Laputa (or Raputa as the Japanese pronounce it) is one of many floating islands that were built thousands of years ago by an unknown civilisation, in order to escape war on Earth.
In the beginning, this civilisation was not very advanced in technology, but over time they learnt to utilise the levetation stones that they mined from deep in the Earth. The technology level of the civilisation grew, and soon it had built hundreds and thousands of flying ships. However one side effect of all this was that the air was heavily polluted by the industrial plants of this civilisation. Then the war came.....
Laputa can be categorised into Science Fiction and Fantasy / RPG Type.
