MISS MODERN



Tamaki shocks her class by advocating a modern woman's right to choose her own husband.
The setting was at the beginning if the 1970s, when Japanese women were part of the tremendous social change affecting the nation. Haikara were the sophisticated, fashionable, and most Westernized elements of society - the men identifiable by their European - style, "high-collar" shirts.
Serialized during 1975 to 1977 in the weekly Hojo Friend. Waki Yamato, the writer of this comic.
Miss Modern (Haikara-san ga Toru = Here Comes a Dandy) can be classified into R (romance), P (Historical), and C (Comedy).
