There's just a few things to do before submitting one.
1. PLEASE!!!!! Put your fanfics in .txt format or Notepad. Wrap the pages to 70 characters per line. If you don't, it'll make reading the fanfics side to side and that could cause dizziness. If you don't know how, I'll even make allowances as to do it for you. If I have the time, that is.
2. Before submiting, please proofread it!!! Grammatical and spelling errors affects a fanfic's ease to read. If you have ABSOLUTELY NO time, I can do several things to help that. I can ask my editor to do it for me, refer you to an editor, or do it myself. Although I have to say, please proof-read the stories! I read all the stories submitted and it really irks me when I see grammar or spelling mistakes.
3. E-mail it to me ATTACHED!! Not pasted on the e-mail itself. It's very inconvenient to do so. Although *sigh* I'll deal with it if you do send it to me pasted. I'll still post it here.
4. Rate your fanfic before submission by writing it on the story itself.
Rating goes as follows:
Rated G = all audiences
Rated PG = Some violence, MINOR sexual themes
Rated PG-13 = Violence, SOME sexual themes, profanity
Rated R = MAJOR violoence, OBVIOUS sexual theme, intense profanity, etc.
NO HENTAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have kids coming to my site so PLEASE nothing that could ruin their internet experience.
5. Please specify which season or time-frame the fanfic falls on. It make it easier on my part to arrange it in the Archives. I sort them by seasons and 'Alternate Reality', 'Other', etc.
6. When e-mailing it, write "Fanfic Submission" for subject. Write the title, author, rating, time-frame, which Sailor Scout you want as your e-mail button character (for your choices scroll down this page) and any other stuff you might want to put in there ON THE E-MAIL. Any special note that you want to make to me, write it on the e-mail body and not on the attachment.
