Breaking Time

Time can’t erase the memories that I’ve faced.
Time can’t erase the hurts I’ve had to embrace.
Time can’t erase those that I hate.
Time can’t do anything but make a mistake.
Don’t preach to me with words of kind wisdom,
I’m not worth your time.
Don’t say that I have some people that care for me,
Because all of them are scared of what I am to be.
I’m all alone
In my cage of cold ice
Too bad I didn’t have time to roam
Because I tried to die twice
Make that three times.
With a fourth.
Deep inside this skin
Is something I cannot take
I've tried hard to win
But it comes out as a mistake
Trying to reach the finish line
Is so hard to make
I feel like a giant hole is sucking me in
Memories of you is really not helping these feelings inside
For all these rules you have given me to abide.
