Emotionless


Darkness is all they see
They don’t understand
This is not who I wanted to be
I didn’t have a choice
I had no voice
So it didn’t matter what I could have said
When I go to the light
Someone pulled me back
And said it wasn’t right
When I tried to care
They would do things I could not bare
I would have to be emotionless
So they wouldn’t hurt
The one I love
I had to become tough
Or the beatings would be more rough
They say I push my emotions aside
That’s not true
It’s all a lie
Otherwise why else
Would I cry
When I go to the light

The punishment would be cruel
Now I’m just an empty shell
This is muchworse than hell
Its not fair
Emotions are rare
When they come to me
No ones even there to see
Now and Forever I’ll be alone
So don’t expect anyone to be home.
