Ice

There is a place I dwell
In a cave of ice
Frozen and hardened by the pain and rejections
By your endless blizzard of lies
This is where I hide
Frozen numb to any feelings
I’m ready to leave this frostbitten life of mine
Everything is so pointless,
And there is no god in sight
So until I’m lucky enough to die
I’ll hide in my heart
Which is frozen, rock hard, and emotionless
Like ice.
