Anime is an art form known mainly to Japan and European countries. In the early 1980s, Anime came to America. One of the first Anime to be previewed in an American Theatre was Japan's smash hit and common household classic, Akira. (1989/1990 in America) Recently, in 1999, Mononoke Hime became the second to be watch by American viewers. Several weeks later, Pok`emon is the third.
This art originated from the cartoons of Walt Disney, hence, the large eyes. Japanese studied Walt Disney's art and made their own version. Today it is called Anime. It is common in all the comics in Japan. Manga (mah-n-gah) is simply an Anime made into a cartoon. Anime is also called Japanimation (only to retarded Americans), the proper name is Anime (ah-knee-may). There are hundreds, if not thousands of Manga artists around the world. Most are inspired by Japanese art. They are in such countries as Mexico, America, France, Portugal, Japan, of course, and England.

Doragonbarru Zettode has been recently popular among the American fans. It has been crudely edited and washed down from its popular origanal state in Japan. Translated to : "Dragonball Z"
Though still loved by many loyal Japanese fans nearly a decade ago, Doragonbarru zettode never went nearly as far as its predessor Doragonbarru (Dragoball) with its creator, Akira Toriyama's innovative a "toilet-humor" style as Son Gokuu travels far and wide to search for seven "dragonballs" to recieve a wish from the Dragon God, Shenron.

Doraemon is a cute little cat robot that came from the 22nd century. Nobita's grandson sent him to bring Nobita good luck. And does he need it! Nobita is always getting into trouble, and running away from it. He is afraid of everything. Doraemon can pull anything from that magical pocket! Sailor Moon is an older classic anime. I do not particularly favor it, but I consider it a classic. Sailor Moon present a sense of cuteness that can not be compared. School girls with powers, hmmm.

To make a short introduction to Ranma is nearly impossible! Takahashi-san, the creator of Ranma, has been voted as Japan's best storyteller and has proven that the imagination is limitless in this fine classic, Ranma 1/2.

Slayer is this really cool anime that is about a group of no more than 15 people who have magical powers. (?) I don't know much cuz I am new, but this series is cool. I have this huge obssesion now with Lina (especially the one vamp tooth)!
Lina is always acompanied by a companion. My favorite of which is Naga. I LOVE HER LAUGH!!!
