Matsushima is a wonderful place to if you are ever in Japan. It is rated about the fifth most beautiful and important place to visit. It is a port city located on the northeastern part of Honshu. It is a leading trade and commerce center for Japan. Fresh fish that you may eat while in Japan might come from Matshusima Bay. If you are ever in Matsushima, take a boat tour. You will not be disappointed. Visit it's strong cultural roots. You can do anything here from restaurants to onsens to wax museums. It is very diverse.
