Toi et Moi-New Single Release!

"Toi et Moi" is French for "You and Me". It was written by Dallas Austin who has also written songs for TLC, Monica, Madonna, Michael Jackson and other singers here in the states. This song is the end theme for the Japanese Pokemon movie "Pocket Monster".

Namie's Mother Brutally Murdered

Namie Amuro's mother, Emiko Taira (48), was murdered 11:48 AM March 17, 1999 on the day of the release of her new single, Respect the Power of Love. Kenji Taira, 44, who is Emiko's step brother, hit her with his '89 Nissan Skyline, and then got out to hit her on the head with a long pipe. Police think the reasoning behind this is because of financial problems between the two. Autopsy tests from Ryukyu University show that Emiko died from a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage when her head hit the pavement.

The kanji character Haruto means warm and big. Amuro's baby's name is HARUTO. The meaning of kanji is WARM+BIG. The character HARU was taken from SAM's real name MASAHARU. Firstly they were going to name him HARUTO with kanji WARM + HUMAN, but its rumor was spread by the media, and they decided to change the character. Following is omitted because they are not related to Namie.

Namie's Baby Born Today!

1:08 19/May in JST, at Maruyama Sougou Kinen Hospital, Namie Maruyama bore 2690-gramme boy baby. Mother and boy are both in good condition.
