Welcome! Irashai! Bienvenue! ˇBienvenidos!Click here to see my picture! I graduated from Bellevue High School in 1996, and I work full time as an administrative assistant. I completed my Associate's degree at Bellevue Community College in 2004. My interests include languages (including Japanese, Spanish, French, and American Sign Language), cultures, music, computers, television programs and movies (like Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, etc.), fashion and fashion history, singing, playing the viola (although I haven't played in years), video games (puzzle games and Bemani games like "Dance Dance Revolution", etc.) reading, and writing. I enjoy the outdoors and animals, and visiting places like Mount Rainier National Park, Northwest Trek, and Deception Pass State Park. My website, which is a work in progress, reflects what intrigues me, and will hopefully be useful and fun. I have a lot of plans for my homepage, including translations of the site (currently available only in English, Japanese, and Spanish); a virtual collection of Japanese ukiyoe (classical Japanese paintings); information and links regarding languages; and pages dedicated to anime (Japanese animation), television, and the cultures of the U.S, Japan, and other countries. I just added a page dedicated to Murasaki Shikibu. I'm almost finished with my guide to American slang with definitions and word origins (only in English, so far), as well as versions of that site translated into other languages. If you have any advice, suggestions, questions, or comments, please e-mail me. Find out more about me and a few of my more interesting aliases. New! Click here to see my photos page! Includes more recent pics than the one above!
Here are a few of the things that have captivated me while cruising the Net.
