This site is still under construction. However I have started to add
things these days. I will be putting more in terms of quotes, poems, and
maybe a dairy or journal (I have to find a site that will let me put it on
my homepage) over the course of the next month or so.

Quotes Which I Think Are Noteworthy

I cried when I had no shoes,
Until I saw a man with no feet.
unknown

In war it is not who's right,
But who's left.

If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thristy, give him something to drink.
Romans 12:20

It is such a secret place,
the land of tears.
Antoine de Saint-Exupèry

Poems That I wrote

NO MORE - me
08/27/2001

Sensing the anguish of the horrid night,
wrapping around and holding me tight.
Sitting up here in the corner of my room,
realizing the task that I have to do.

Only hours away before I take my life,
away from this world full of strife.
Hoping for a better next time,
wishing the mistakes will not be repeated.

Tears running down this sad face,
as if it had just been sprayed with mace.
Trying to think of all the good times,
disregarding all of the bad.

Holding this gun up to my temple,
knowing it's all really simple.
Hesitating, I face the east,
waiting for that last glimpse of dawn.

Now I put my finger on the trigger,
as you see it's easy to figure.
The gun will not click,
now I feel sick.
For this cruel world did not give me bullets.

Poems That Touched My Heart

GIVE ME A CHANCE
by Daniel Lazarus Garcia

All it took was one glance,
Now all I ask is one chance,
To try to win your heart,
Just give me a chance to start.
I'll show you it ws meant to be,
to be together is our destiny.
It's written in the stars for all the world to see,
Together, forever just you and me.
Two star-crossed lovers in perfect harmony,
Just give me a chance and you will agree,
I was meant for you -And you for me.

TRUST
by Melissa Marie Snyder

Trust is a very strong word,
A powerful meaning broken in two.
This word is formed
Around one letter,
The letter which is U.
For U are the one I live for,
The only one I love.
And if you remain by my side,
The U becomes an US.
For Us means no other love,
Only me and you.
And from this day forward,
I promise US,
Forever I'll be TRU.
TRU to our relationship,
In hopes it will never RUST.
For you are the one,
I give my love,
The only one I TRUST.

THE OYSTER
by Unknown

There once was an oyster
Whose story I tell,
Who found that some sand
Had go into his shell.
It was only a grain,
But it gave him great pain.
For oysters have feelings
Although they're so plain.

Now, did he berate
The harsh workings of fate
That had brought him
To such a deplorable state?
Did he curse at the goverment,
Cry for election,
And claim that the sea should
Have given him protection?

No - he said to himself
As he lay on a shell,
Since I cannot remove it,
I shall try to improve it.
Now the years have rolled around,
As the years always do,
And he came to his ultimate
Destiney - stew.

And the small grain of sand
That had bothered him so
Was a beautiful pearl
All richly aglow.
Now the tale has a moral;
For isn't it grand
What an oyster can do
With a morsel of sand?

What couldn't we do
If we'd only begin
With some of the things
That get under our skin.
