KNOW FEAR's
Story Submission Guidelines

  1. Please spellcheck your stories, and proofread them for grammatical errors. We all make mistakes, but it's best to catch them before they become public.

  2. Submissions sent specifically to KNOW FEAR, but not items which are published elsewhere, are subject to minor editing and revisions, such as the separation of paragraphs for easier internet-based reading, the addition of a title bar, and basic spellchecking. All efforts will be made to keep the item as submitted.

  3. On the subject of paragraphs: please, please, please carefully denote where your paragraphs begin or end. You don't need to do anything fancy; just put a space between paragraphs. A simple hit of the return key isn't quite enough, as line breaks in e-mail messages are always subjective. An example:



  4. Unless otherwise specified, your e-mail address will be included with your submission, as a matter of courtesy.

  5. Finally, KNOW FEAR is run by a poor college student with too much time on his hands. He cannot pay your for your work. You should know better than that. So don't expect any sort of cash award for getting electronic circulation of your stories. On the upside, KNOW FEAR does not implicity own the copyrights to any stories in the Fiction section (excepting those by Nick Zube, who runs the danged thing), so no offense will be taken if you post your works up on your own page, submit them to others, or even ask me to remove your works! It's all good, G.

  6. However, please inform me, or the authors, if you intend to use any works here which are not expressly your own. Ordinarily, as long as you keep the author's name, original title, and formatting, everything is fine. But you should still ask, lest I, and the original creators, get angry.
