Hi Tad!

Interesting site. You must have put a lot of hours into this. The best thing is that the name is memorable, so we can actually find you! Heard that you had escaped the country. The new career sounds interesting, and your web page is even more informative than a Christmas letter.

Hi Tadaaki-san,

Hajimemashite.

I wasn't aware of your sites, either Nikkei Nexus or Sei What? (what a GREAT name!). I've never come across them through any of the search engines ... You're awesome with all your links to informative articles and Web sites!

I really like what you're doing and am glad to make your cyber-acquaintance! Let's stay in touch, I can tell we're kindred spirits.

I watch every basho from Japan via satellite. The basho in Canada was a great experience. After watching for about 5 years on TV, the opportunity to see it from the 5th row was quite a thrill.

Maybe you could provide a small amount of room to allow other Nikkei relate their often painful experiences growing up here in Canada. I was the youngest of three, in a bedroom community known as Brampton, ON! Let's just say that Racial Hatred was running rampant in the Toronto Oriental Communities. It has many casualties and some disheartened people that find No salvation in Hatred.

I was different from the rest of the Japanese Canadian Youth in the Greater Toronto Area. If I were ever to return to Toronto... people would simply shun me, my relatives have done that to me! I broke all ties to my biological Family, it hurt like HELL and there are some positive aspects from divorcing myself from those who hate with all their HEART!

I moved here last year July 13, 1997 and have been struggling to make a dent here. Let's just say that if I were to marry a Vietnamese girl there would have been Heavy Emotion-filled Casualties!! I have met a Beautiful Japanese Woman Naoko through the Internet... I just hope she will come to visit me here in Edmonton, AB!!

At least the Aboriginal People have begun to recognise a problem with their children... Now it is the Japanese People's turn to face the truth HEAD ON!!!

Your site is VERY interesting and must have taken you forever to put together.

I am a visual artist working in multimedia and new technologies. I explore the links between life and death, the thin line that separates the two. I try to put forward a different view of death and what might be happening next. So my work is sliding between a very clinical approach, to very spiritual. It is a positive view of death, always putting things in perspective.

Take care and keep your beautiful site alive ...
