Typhoon Tour of Japan

This was my first trip back to Japan in two years. Like all of my previous seven visits, the primary purpose was family related: my cousin was getting married. I was also able to contact people I have met through my involvement in various JC and Japan-related organizations in Toronto during the past year. Over my ten-day stay I experienced equal portions of the traditionally favourite and the wonderously novel, the reassuringly familiar and the disconcertingly disorienting.
