I must confess to not having any idea what the theory is behind this. (If anybody knows, please e-mail me!) The types of trees run roughly in a six-month cycle, assigned to periods that vary in length from one day to 18 days, and are seemingly in no particular order. The rarest kinds of people are Oaks (21 Mar), Birches (24 June), Olives (23 Sept), and Beeches (22 Dec). The most common are the Poplars (04-08 Mar, 01-14 May and 05-13 Aug). The schema seems to be accurate for the people I know.
