Hello and welcome to The Fighting Girls of Anime Webring Homepage. I started this webring because I've always admired the many strong female characters in a lot of the different animes that I've watched ranging from Ranma 1/2, Cutey-Honey, Ninja Scroll, Slayers, Ghost in the Shell, and more. If you watch a lot of anime or read a lot of manga, you'll notice that a good number of the female characters are strong fighters in the martial arts (Shampoo from Ranma 1/2), magical arts (Lina Inverse from Slayers), or just a normal human girl that is struggling against strong external (or maybe even internal conflicts). If you have a favorite female character(s) from an anime/manga series or a video game series (i.e. Chun-Li) and you have a webpage (doesn't have to be the whole page -- can be a part of it) that is devoted to your favorite character(s) then you definitely qualify for this webring! Below I have outlined the short list of qualifications to be a part of The Fighting Girls of Anime Webring:
1. Your page should be anime/manga/video game related.
2. Your page should include a spotlight on a strong female character that you admire. The female character doesn't necessarily have to have powers or great skills in the martial arts. Just if they prove to be a strong female character in their story.
