Question 6: A general description of the character.
Sharon is an average height, well built, very attractive Chinese girl. She has long black hair, which she can style in several ways, with golden highlighted streaks. She may wear various types of clothing, sometimes western style, or sometimes a blue version of the red Chinese silk dress Shampoo wears. Sharon also bears a vague resemblance to Shampoo, except her eyes are smaller.
Sharon seems to be really kind and gentle towards other people in her social life. Whenever she's in a fight however, she is usually prepared to go all out when necessary and do what she has to do. Since she wasn't raised in the Joketsuzoku tribal village, she looks at some amazon laws as unusual and ridiculous, particularly the ones on being defeated by a male or female outsider. She may be a little bit stubborn at times (i.e.: refusing to learn the Bakusai Tenketsu because she didn't wanted to be hammered by rocks) still, it is very rare occasion when she acts like that. Also, unlike many other Ranma characters, Sharon seems to be rather modest about her looks. She also likes to keep her title as a princess confidential, even from some of her friends.
In her spare time, Sharon is very different from all other amazons. She likes to play sports such as volleyball, tennis, or basketball. She also likes to listen to music. She even loves to go out shopping for new clothes. Then she also loves to go and hang out with her friends. But of all things, she loves going out on dates with her fiance Eddie Wong (see the first tournament) the most.
On the battle field, Sharon is quite skilled. She is very quick, strong, and a brilliant strategist. But since she doesn't really like hurting innocent people, the amount of effort she puts into a battle depends on how skilled the opponent she is fighting. However, when she goes all out, she can be considered potentially just as lethal than Ranma. Her main weapon is a metal staff which at the push of the button in the middle, will seperate into a three sectioned staff, although she only uses it against armed competitors. She usually puts it away after her opponent is disarmed.
Question 7: The character's history.
Throughout Cologne's long life, she only bore one daughter, who then gave birth to two daughters, of which each one had one daughter. One was Shampoo, the other was Sharon. (For those of you who are confused, Sharon is Shampoo's cousin) Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Sharon is the princess of the Joketsuzoku village by blood heritage. Because of this, her parents trained her well in the amazon martial arts and taught her techniques that only those of royal blood are permitted to learn. On several occasions, she would visit her tribe to recieve even more strict training from Cologne or to participate in their annual fighting tournament.
Sharon is known and recognized by every amazon of the Joketsuzoku tribe for her beauty, skill, and heritage (come on, she's a princess remember? ^_^ ). She was the only amazon to ever win their annual fighting tournament five times in a row. (at ages 11 to 15. Shampoo won it the year after that). Of all the amazon however, she has the closest relationship to Mousse and Shampoo, whom she treats like a close brother and sister. Throughout all the years Sharon had known them, she had always known about Mousse's love for Shampoo and had seen how cold Shampoo was. She usually had sympathy for Mousse (telling him not to feel bad, his day would come, etc.) and would advise Shampoo to try to be a little more kind towards him.
After winning her fifth amazon fighting tournament, Sharon was given the responsibility of guarding an anctient scroll of the royal family from Cologne. However, upon her return home to Los Angeles, she found her parents brutally and mysteriously murdered. Several weeks after that, six of her best friends decided to take her to a friendly outing to cheer her up. It was on that day when Eddie Wong decided to propose to her on the spot, which she happily accepted. Before they could all celebrate, they were met by Sharon's great grand-uncle, Hei Fong. (More on him in Eddie Wong's profile)
Hei Fong revealed that he was the one who murdered her parents in attempt to find the family scroll and demanded it immediately. Seeing how dangerous Hei Fong was, all six of Sharon's friends attacked him at the same time, and failed. Several were beaten by upgraded versions of their own techniques. It was then Sharon decided to defend the scroll by herself. After an extreme battle, Sharon apparently defeated Hei Fong with a Hiryu Sho Rekka (see techniques below). Then to everyone's horror, his wounds healed momentarily after the fight. Upon seeing it used, Hei Fong then learned how to use the Hiryu Sho Rekka himself. However, knowing that Sharon wouldn't be caught by its element of surprise, Hei Fong decided to use it on Eddie Wong. Instinctively, Sharon pushed Eddie out of the blast zone and took the blast herself, which ended up killing her.
Hei Fong took the scroll and began to walk away until he felt a very powerful battle aura. It was Eddie, who after feeling pure rage for the first time, used his anger to react with his pure heart in a way to let him change into his "warrior of purity" form (see Eddie's New Moves for more details). Another battle ensued and in the end, Eddie appeared to have killed Hei Fong with an energy blast and a lethal slash with a sword. Although the scroll was safe and Sharon's death seemed to be avenged, Eddie still felt responsible for her death. As a result, he had her body preserved with special herbs so that she would age at a normal rate as if she were alive until he could find a way to revive her. Two years later, Eddie found a legendary treasure with magical powers and used it to restore Sharon's life thus reuniting the two.
Question 8: Special Moves.
Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken, Hiryu Shoten Ha- taught to her by Cologne
After Image Movement- taught to her by Eddie Wong
Chi Barrier- taught to her by Eddie Wong, Sharon powers up her battle aura and creates a coating of chi around her which can protect her from chi, but not physical attacks. However, it doesn't protect her completely. When a chi attack hits her, she may be protected, but she will still feel the impact as if it were a hard punch or kick. Therefore, she must almost always raise her arms to block it or if the attack is somewhat weaker, she may bat it away with a swipe of her hand. Overall, it is rather a bullet proof vest for chi rather than a bomb shelter.
After Image Zone- inspired to her during a match with Cologne, Sharon will dissapear from her opponent's view. Suddenly, eight images of herself will appear circling her adversary. During this time, she is actually running circles around them. One image may strike without warning, as a decoy, or even as her real self attacking. Opponents can rarely knock her out of this by attacking one image at a time because there will always be a safe spot for her to stand for a split second. However, if they manage to attack several at once within a split second, it may cancel out the technique. If Sharon is hit while performing the move, she will usually be somewhat less than 100% from before as running around in circles can make her exauhsted.
Ryu Kaze Ha (Dragon Wind Blast)- Sharon will raise her hands above her head to gather chi. After gathering enough, she will project her arms outward and release a beam that is usually blue in color.
Hiryu Sho Rekka (Dragon Rising Fire)- This technique was derived originally from the Hiryu Shoten Ha. Like its father, the Hiryu Sho Rekka is a spiral attack that is projected upwards from the ground level. However there are several differeces. One, the Hiryu Sho Rekka takes more time to summon. Two, instead of air, the spiral of the Hiryu Sho Rekka is made of chi. Three, unlike the Hiryu Shoten Ha, the user of Hiryu Sho Rekka doesn't have to be in the center of the spiral as they can form it just by manipulating energy at any distance around them. In other words, it can also be summoned right underneath the opponent for a surprise attack. There are also three versions of the technique. In the first version, Sharon will harness the fiery hot chi of her opponent or herself, thus creating a spiral of fire. The second version has Sharon gather the cool chi of herself or her opponent to create a cold spiral blast. The final version is a mixture of the two in which Sharon must be givingoff the opposite battle aura of her opponent. Then by combining the hot and cold chi together, it creates a large explosive effect. This version however, takes a lot more time than the first two.
Sogetsu Ki Zan (Crecent Chi Slash): Sharon's staff will give off a bright blue glow. Then she'll spin her staff quickly above her head then slash it downwards which will launch a blue crescent blade of chi. It can either slice objects or explode upon impact depending on how she uses it.
Renzoku Sogetsu Ki Zan (Continuous Crecent Chi Slash): After making her staff into a three sectioned staff, Sharon charges her weapon with chi like before. Then she'll swing and spin it around for a long period of time causing the two outside sections of her staff to launch chi blades straight at her opponent or if she is swinging the staff above her head, she'll launch blades in all directions.
Ressen Rouga Ken: (Violent Wolf Fist) This isn't really a technique itself, but a combination sequence. Sharon will leave an after image of herself in front of her opponent while she moves behind them. Then before the image dissappears, Sharon will attack her opponent with a spear hand technique to the back of their knee then follow up with a hand stand kick which launches them into the air. From here, she'll jump up after her opponent then pummel them with several punches and kicks before smashing them into the earth with a double overhead hammer punch. Depending how strong her opponent is, she may follow this up by landing with her knee into her opponents chest or with a Ryu Kaze Ha from mid-air.

Sharon wants to win the tournament and go on a large shopping spree to by things for herself and her friends of course! ^_^

The setting is an open area in a forest just near the outskirts of the Jokezoku village. On the scene are Cologne, Sharon, Shampoo, and Mousse.
Cologne: You have always been impressive my grandaughter... you have just won our annual tournament for the fifth straight time... rather easily may I add.
Sharon: Well, I don't know... it wasn't really easy at all...
Mousse: Don't be so modest princess! Were you even touched once in the fights?
Sharon: *blushes* OK! OK! Enough with the formal greetings! What was it you wanted to bring me here for Grandma?
Cologne: Well, winning the tournament has just brought great honor on our royal family. And now I would like to grant you the responsibility of defending the Jokezoku royal family's scroll. (She pulls out a scroll with a golden ring around it)
Sharon: That's it? Oh well... (she grabs onto the scroll) either way, I have a flight back home to catch. Bye grandm... huh? (Sharon starts walking away but stops when she feels Cologne's grip still on the scroll) Um... great grandma? If you're going to be so protective of the scroll, why do you need me to defend it?
Cologne: Heh! Always so witty aren't you grandaughter? In case I forgot to mention, you may have honored our family, but you still haven't qualified to become a guardian of the royal scroll. Therefore, you must pass one more test...
Sharon: Which is...?
Cologne: You must defeat me in an all out battle in which we will fight as if we were to kill each other! If you win, you shall be granted this right. If you lose, you shall be put to death! Now before we begin.... (she is interupted by someone laughing)
Sharon: (laughing hard) You're funny grandma! Is this another law I haven't about yet? (she relaxes a short moment to catch her breath) But seriously, I have to go. So let's just pass this down the normal way.
Shampoo: (quietly) Very strange that cousin Sharon no hear of this law, especially when she princess. Shampoo think life with outsiders make princess go crazy?
Sharon: Better yet, just give it to me next time grandmother. I'm going to be late.
Sharon turned around and began to walk away when suddenly, she sensed a strong attack approaching her. She looked back and into the sky and saw Cologne flying downward towards her with her walking stick. Before her great grandmother could strike her, Sharon instinctively jumped out of the path of the staff watching it make a large crater in the ground just behind her.
Sharon: (shocked) Grandma! What are you doing?
Cologne: I already told you! Now attack me with your full strength!
Sharon: Come on grandma! This isn't funny!
Cologne charged again with her staff. It was only then when Sharon knew how serious this battle was going to be as she quickly drew her own metal staff and parried Cologne's incoming strike. The two amazon continued to trade blows with their staffs. Still, Cologne was clearly the aggressor as she launched a clean hit into the abdomen of her grandaughter. Upon taking the hit, Sharon used the momentum of the blow to backflip a good distance away. She then strapped her staff to her back once again and raised her hands a few inches above her head to gather energy.
Sharon: RYU...KAZEE...(she stops)... no! I can't! She's family! I better find a less painful way to stop this!
Sharon drew her staff once again. This time, she charged straight at her opponent and swung her staff straight downward at Cologne, who brought up her cane to block. Then during the middle of her swing, Sharon quickly pushed a button at the center of her weapon to make it split into a three sections, each one linked by a chain. With Cologne caught off guard, Sharon used the chain of her weapon to wrap around her grandmother's and pulled it out of her grasp.
Sharon: The game is up! (She points the handle of the cane at Cologne's face)
Cologne reaches out and touches her cane with her finger, causing it to spin wildly in mid-air and flip Sharon several feet up. Upon landing on her feet, Sharon charges again preparing her next attack.
Sharon: Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken!!
Cologne: Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken!!
Both jumped at each other began to punch as fast as they possibly can in mid air with the sounds of their knuckles slamming together echoing throughout the forest. Then while punching with one hand, Cologne used her other hand to fire a blast of chi through her cane which slams Sharon into the ground causing a crater.
Mousse: Wow, I've never seen that old monkey use such techniques before!
Sharon walked out of the crater with a coating of chi around her body looking very tired.
Sharon: That was close! This chi barrier just barely protected me from that last one!
Seconds later, Cologne appeared to dissappear from sight. Shortly after, ten images of herself began to surround Sharon who closed her eyes and tried to pinpoint her grandmother's location by the sound of her footsteps. Suddenly, she kicked at one image and knocked it out of the circle causing all the other after-images of Cologne to vanish. Swiftly, Cologne jumped back up to her feet and found herself encircled by eight after-images of her grandaughter. Without warning, one image charged at her. Cologne instinctively struck out with her walking stick and found nothing but air. She then stabbed at all the other images still without a clean hit. Then it happened... Cologne felt a foot strike her in the back, then she felt another one kick her in the front, soon, she was being pummeled everywhere. Not knowing how much longer she could take, Cologne took a risk and channeled all her energy into one technique.
Cologne: HIRYU SHOTEN HA!
The whirlwind propelled upward and launched Sharon high into the air, cancelling all the illusions of herself. In the midst of all the dust that was kicked up by the cyclone, she managed to shoot her arm out and grab onto a branch up high on a tree. Holding on tightly, Sharon began to pray that the tornado would soon disappear. Seconds later, her prayers seemed to be answered as she stood on the tree branch and saw how Cologne had no knowledge of her location.
Sharon: It's time to end this...
Sharon slowly began to put her hands together to gather the hot energy that was given off during the battle and formed it into an invisible spiral around Cologne. Then with one quick motion, she brought both of her hands above her head together.
Sharon: HIRYU SHO REKKA!
A large cyclone of fire formed around Cologne and blasted her sky high. Then as the old ghoul began to fall back down, Sharon leapt from her hiding place and caught her grandmother before she hit the ground just in time to see her open her eyes.
Cologne: I believe the match is over grandaughter *cough* *cough*
Sharon: That wasn't really a match grandmother. You were holding back weren't you? I knew you would never try to hurt me...
Cologne: (nods her head slightly)... either way now, in my eyes, you fought well enough in this battle. Therefore, I hereby present you the scroll of the royal family of Jokezoku. (she tosses the scroll to her)
The weight of the treasure felt comfortable in Sharon's hand as she caught it. Although she herself never understood why she had to go through such trouble to obtain a piece of paper wrapped in a gold ring, this was a goal her parents had always wanted her to reach, and she knew they would be proud of her.
Cologne: You have done me proud my grandaughter. But this always makes me worry. How will you ever find a male outsider strong enough to defeat you and prove himself worthy of your love?
Sharon: Oh grandma! Not with THAT law again! Besides, I've already found a wonderful guy! *sigh* And if it matters at all, he's already a strong fighter!
Cologne: (curiously) Stronger than you? Maybe next time you may bring him here to rule by your side...
Sharon: It doesn't matter how strong he is!
Cologne: Does he have a name?
Sharon: yes... his name is E...(she is interupted by a voice calling to her. Another amazon is walking her way)
Amazon: Your majesty, your ride to the airport is here
Sharon: All right, I better go now. (she hugs Cologne), don't worry great greandmother, the scroll is in good hands, I'll defend it with my life! (she hugs Shampoo) Bye cousin... stay out of trouble while I'm gone. (she hugs Mousse) Mousse, take care of Shampoo while I'm gone. (She departs)
Mousse: You hear that Shampoo? She wants me to take care of y.. *POW* (Shampoo punches him into a tree)
Shampoo: (to Cologne) Great-grandma, why you hold back against cousin Sharon? Amazon law say for you to fight with no mercy.
Cologne: Shampoo... right now, the scroll isn't safe in the village. A being of great evil power is trying to find it. If Sharon takes the scroll from the village, it should be safe. (she walks away)
Shampoo: Shampoo no understand....
Cologne: (solemnly to herself) A black wind has begun to blow. Great grandaughter.... you said you would guard the treasure with your life. Why do I fear for your safety?
