Ranma 1/2
Anything Goes Battle Arena
The Setting:
On the rooftop of the Tendou Dojo late on night, Kodachi was preparing her usual blends of poison. She has opened the window to the room where Ranma and his father were sleeping, and was getting ready to throw in a bouquet of roses loaded with sleeping gas inside. She said to herself, "Soon, Ranma-sama, I will take you from this wicked place and to somewhere we won't be interrupted. Of course, I don't want to wake you before we've arrived..."
She barely resisted the urge to laugh, knowing that her dear Ranma would wake up, and brought her arm back to toss the flowers into the window. Before she could, her concentration was ruined when she was forced to dodge a bicycle that would have landed on top of her.
The rider, Shampoo, glared at Kodachi and said, "What you doing here?"
Kodachi quickly lashed out with her ribbon and sliced Shampoo's delivery bike into pieces. Shampoo was fast enough to get off the bike and avoid being hit. Kodachi said, "I was about to ask you the same thing, you peasant. I'm here to have a pleasant evening with my Ranma-sama, and I would appreciate it if you would not interrupt us."
Shampoo pulled out her Bonbori and said, "Ranma never have pleasant evening with crazy girl. You is obstacle, and obstacles is for killing!"
Kodachi gave a quiet version of her laugh, and said, "You're welcome to try, but I'm afraid you can't stand in the way of the love my darling Ranma and I share." She readied her ribbon, and stared at her opponent menacingly. Meanwhile, Ranma and Genma Saotome slept peacefully in the room below.

I think that it's pretty likely that Shampoo will be the victor in this conflict. While a skillful opponent, Kodachi relies pretty heavily on deceitful trickery to carry the day--something that's very effective against an opponent who isn't ready for it. However, Shampoo knows Kodachi fairly well by now, and will be ready for her dishonorable tactics. So, when the Black Rose's Black Roses fail to do the job, it'll probably come down to pitting Shampoo's skill against Kodachi's, and in that, there is no contest. Shampoo is, by far, the more versatile fighter, having shown herself able to fight unarmed, as well as with a variety of weapons. Kodachi, like Ukyou, is rather limited by the specific scope of her chosen fighting style, and would likely fall very quickly if Shampoo managed to disarm her (of course, as Kodachi seems to have an almost limitless choice of Rhythmic Gymnastics weapons to choose from, it is unlikely that Shampoo will win in this manner. With 3000 (4000? 5000?!) years of Amazon tradition \par backing her up, and years of training under the best the Amazon village has to offer, I think that Shampoo will easily prove the victor.

Hmm... this is tough. Motivation won't make a difference. These two are the most obsessive of all of Ranma's suitors. Many might pick shampoo. However, i'm gonna have to go with Kodachi. Remember, Ranma was able to dominate Shampoo in their first fight. Kodachi, on the other hand, gave Ranma a tough match. So even though i like shampoo more, i have to go with Kodachi.

Shampoo has the combat discipline to defeat Kodachi. Shampoo is stronger, just as fast and just plain meaner than Kodachi. Don't get me wrong, Kodachi isn't a pushover, but Shampoo is just plain better. The only chance Kodachi has is if she can trick Shampoo. However Shampoo is just as sneaky as Kodachi and I feel that Shamps won't give Kodachi that option. So after a limited exchange Shampoo emerges victorious.

For Shampoo this an easy victory! Shampoo was only beaten in a fight against Ranma. Kodachi on the other hand has been beaten all the time, even by herself during "Tendo Family Christmas Scramble" when she inhaled her own sleeping powder. Besides, Shampoo also has more experince to boot.
The Fight:
"Hmph." Shampoo said as Kodachi gave her a threatening look, "You no impress me." Wasting no more time on words, the Amazon charged at her opponent, attempting to violate Kodachi's personal space with a particularly heavy bonbori. As fast as Shampoo was, however, Kodachi had extensive gymnastics training on her side. The Black Rose jumped high into the air, over Shampoo's head. She twisted her body around in the air so she was facing her opponents back, and with a quick laugh said, "Ohoho! You're wide open!" She lashed out with her razor sharp ribbon, but Shampoo turned around without warning and blocked the attack with the hard metal end of her bonbori.
While Kodachi was still in the air, Shampoo charged at her quickly. Kodachi lashed out with her ribbon several times with the greatest of speeds, but in each instance the attack was blocked by her equally quick opponent. After closing much of the distance by running along the rooftop, Shampoo leapt up into the air, twin bonbori ready to strike. Kodachi realized how incredibly vulnerable she was at this point, and changed her strategy of attack as the purple haired Amazon got closer and closer.
From Shampoo's perspective, the ribbon began to twirl in an almost hypnotic spiral. Mysteriously, black rose petals were floating through the air as well, adding to the effect. Shampoo paid no attention to all of this though, her vision focused on her opponent. Kodachi tightened the ribbon spiral as Shampoo drew nearer, and in a quick motion closed the spiral around the handles of Shampoo's weapons. Kodachi pulled back on the ribbon and disarmed Shampoo. Now that the Amazon's only means of blocking her attacks was removed, the Black Rose reared back for another strike, an arrogant smile on her face.
In the rules of martial arts rythmic gymnastics, bare handed blows are not allowed. When training, it is emphasized that if an opponent is disarmed, then they are no longer a threat. Unfortunately for Kodachi, Shampoo didn't know the rules of martial arts rythmic gymnastics, and there were certainly no referees on the Dojo's rooftop to disqualify her.
Shampoo said, "Now you is wide open!" and after finally coming into range of Kodachi she threw a kick which connected solidly with the side of the gymnast's head. It was obvious that Shampoo wasn't going to go easy on her opponent. Kodachi fell and landed on the Dojo's roof back-first, and lay there, still. Shampoo landed on the roof as well, but much more gracefully, and turned to face her prone opponent, guard still up. As Kodachi continued to lay there completely still, however, Shampoo said, "Too Easy." She look around the rooftop for her box of ramen, which had miraculously avoided being destroyed all this time.
As the Amazon walked over toward the too, too delicious ramen, Kodachi's eyes shot open, the look on them could only say that she was mad... VERY mad. Silently, she sprung to her feet, and pulled her razor hoop seemingly from thin air. The moonlight caught the hoop just right, and the bladed edge took on an eerie blue light. The gymnast reared back her arm and let the hoop go, aiming straight at Shampoo's neck.
Shampoo picked up the delivery box of ramen, and stood up. Suddenly, her combat sense told her that something very bad was gonig to happen to her if she didn't react immediately. The Amazon spun around and brought the delivery box up to block the hoop. The razor-hoop sliced right through the box, however, causing Shampoo to have to duck immediately to avoid decapitation. A few strands of purple hair floated off, caught in the wind as the hoop sailed past it's mark, but Kodachi wasn't finished. She followed up the attack with several thrown gymnastics clubs, which Shampoo had to move very quickly to avoid, and then a rather plain looking red ball. Shampoo might have just swated it aside if she were fighting anyone else, but she knew Kodachi... Shampoo sidestepped the ball, and then began to charge in on her opponent, having been on the defensive for long enough. The ball flew through the air for quite a while before going in through one unlucky Nerima resident's window. Soon afterwards, there was much coughing and a cloud of purple gas, but neither combattant noticed this.
"For Ranma-sama, I will defeat you!" Kodachi yelled, the anger still burning in her eyes. She began to run toward Shampoo as the Amazon charged, and produced two clubs with spiked ends. The Black Rose had every intention of ending this right there on the rooftop. The two closed the distance between each other quickly, and Kodachi was the first to attack. She thrust forward one of the clubs with amazing speed, her devotion to Ranma pushing the spiked weapon toward her opponent's throat.
Shampoo sidestepped quickly, but one of the sharp spikes grazed her neck, causing a shallow but painful cut. Kodachi continued moving forward, but she had a second club which she could still strike with. Shampoo wasted no time and threw a hard uppercut to Kodachi's jaw. The Black Rose's head pitched back a bit, but she held on to consciousness and with a furious cry jabbed out with her second club at Shampoo's midsection.
Shampoo barely caught the handle of the club, the spikes just mere inches away from her. She quickly delivered a knee blow to Kodachi, causing her to double over reflexively, and then another strong uppercut punch. The Black Rose impressively managed to maintain her balance as she staggered forward a few steps. She said between gritted teeth, "For.. Ranma.. sama..." but it was all she could take. Kodachi fell down onto the rooftop with a soft 'thud,' laying sprawled out on the ground in front of her opponent. Shampoo nudged the fallen gymnast with her toe to make sure she was down for the count.
The Amazon looked over at the remains of her special delivery ramen, and sighed. She said to herself in her native tounge, <Well, there's no point in waking Ranma now that I've lost my too, too delicious ramen.> She felt the side of her face, where she had recieved a scratch and said, <It's a good thing that crazy girl wasn't very skilled, or I might have been finished.> Taking one last look around the scene of battle, Shampoo gathered up what remained of her delivery bike and hopped off along the rooftops toward the Nekohanten.
