Ranma 1/2 Anything Goes Battle Arena

The Setting:

"Ranma Saotome, I challenge you to a battle at any location of your choosing. You have strung Shampoo along for too long, and it is time for the matter to be settled once and for all. If you are man enough to accept this challenge, reply immediately. Forfiet is not an option, Saotome. -Mousse." Kasumi read the note that had been left at the gate aloud. "Oh my, I suppose I'll have to give this to Ranma as soon as I see him."

Nabiki listened with interest as Kasumi read, then looked down at the note she had grabbed from the gate even earlier that day, "Ranma, meet me at the empty lot behind my house in one week. It's time to end the fight that we've let drag on for so long in the place that it was supposed to start. You have my word that I will be there on time. -Ryouga Hibiki" Nabiki smiled to herself as she pulled out a pen, some paper, and a pair of scissors. "Kasumi, I think we may be able to afford those repairs for the Dojo after all."

Ryouga Hibiki yawned as he woke up. Today was the day he would finish his fight with Ranma, and he had to make sure he didn't get lost. He was surprised when he heard several voices from outside his tent. Ryouga emerged from his tent to see a large crowd of people surrounding the vacant lot. Mousse was standing in the lot with Ryouga, and Nibiki Tendo suddenly shouted, "It's Mousse vs. Ryouga... the battle of the century! Place your bets now!" While Nabiki quickly took bets, Mousse walked over to Ryouga, "What's this about Hibiki? I'm supposed to be fighting Ranma."

"I was about to say the same to you. I camped out here for an entire week waiting for my chance to beat Ranma into the ground." Ryouga replied.

"But Ranma sent me a letter telling me to meet him here so that we can settle the matter of who gets to marry Shampoo!" Mousse said.

"I guess you're gonna have to wait. My grudge with Ranma has to be settled first. Because of Ranma, I turn into a little pig whenever I get wet! My life is a living hell!" Ryouga said with emotion to Mousse.

"Because of Ranma, I turn into a duck every time I get wet! AND he stands between me and my true love, Shampoo! MY life is a living hell!" Mousse retorted dramatically.

"You don't know a thing about living hell!" Ryouga shouted.

    "Oh yeah?"

    "Yeah!"

    "OH YEAH?!"

    "YEAH!"

Nabiki smiled as she looked over her records. The bets were almost even, so she didn't need to interfere to make a profit, and it looked as though the crowd was about to get what it wanted.

David S. Ledger
Two words: shishi houkoudan. Seriously though; Mousse has got nothing that could stop Ryouga. Chains? He'd snap 'em. Bombs? They'd slow him down for what, five seconds? Hand-to-hand weapons? If Ryouga's that close, Mousse has already lost. Remember, Ryouga is Ranma's nearest thing to a rival, while Mousse is just a nagging problem. They aren't on the same level. Plus, Mousse isn't really fighting for Shampoo in this fight, and without that to motivate him he hasn't got the endurance.

Blade
Because it HAPPENED in the manga, twice. And TWICE, Ryouga kicked Mousse's behind EASILY. There's not even a comparison.  Mousse isn't in Ryouga's league, period.

Wade Tritschler
Mousse can be rather deadly and all, but lets face facts, Ryoga can challenge and sometimes defeat Ranma consistently.  Mousse hasn't got a chance. Besides, Ryoga is just more likable.

Chibi Ellis
Mouse has been fighting longer then ryouga  he might be a male amazon but he's still a amazon. All of his weapons are eather exsplosives or sharp he could rip ryouga's umbralla out of his hands with a chain. In duck form mousse still has his hidden weapons ryouga dosen't have anything in pig form and mousse is bigger then him in cursed form.

Dr. Zero
I like them both.  But Ryoga is more stronger than Mousse.  Ryoga is Ranma  most fearsome rival and the most strongest character except   Colonge, Happosai, and Ranma. Mousse is good too.  But I think he isn'y good as Ryoga yet.  But I think he is the most strongest character next to Ryoga. This is a tough choice. Most people probably will choose Ryoga too, but I chose him for his skill,  not because he is my favorite character or cute, etc.

Cristin
Mousse is cuter...but he's blind.  Ryouga can actually see, and has real attacks - not just kitchen sinks. Although I hope Mousse doesn't lose that bad... he is pretty cute...

The Fight:

"Ok Mousse, I'm about to show you exactly what living hell is like!" Ryouga said as he went straight into his attack. Mousse attempted to stop his offesive by throwing several sharp objects with chains attached to them at the lost boy. Ryouga quickly pulled his umbrella from his backpack and opened it to deflect the projectiles.

"Eat this! Bakusai Tenketsu!" Ryouga shouted as he thrust his finger into the ground where Mousse had been standing. As Mousse leapt into the air, the ground below him exploded and several pieces of rock hit him. "Are you ready to give up yet, Mousse?" Ryouga said.

Without warning, Mousse shouted "Keiran Ken!!" Several hen's eggs flew at Ryouga and exploded. Mousse threw another volley of chains, which wrapped themselves around Ryouga's limbs while he was distracted with the bombs. "Perhaps it is you who would like to surrender, Hibiki?"

"You think you can stop me with these?" Ryouga said as he easily snapped the chains. Mousse and Ryouga both leapt into the air, Ryouga with his umbrella ready and Mousse with his hands in his sleeves.

"Fist of the White Swan!" Mousse yelled as he smashed Ryouga with an unseen weapon before the lost boy could strike with his umbrella. Ryouga fell to the ground, and quickly got up again.

"What the heck was that?" Ryouga growled, although he didn't seem damaged by the blow.

"Just as the swan conceals its thrashing feet beneath the glassy surface of the water, so do I conceal my deadly strike." Mousse said with drama. Several people in the crowd gasped in awe. The two combattants leapt into the air, and Mousse again yelled, "Fist of the White Swan!" As Mousse executed his attack with lightning speed once again, Ryouga put his fist right through the white swan training toilet weapon and into Mousse's chest.

"Haven't you had enough yet?" Ryouga asked as Mousse landed on the ground, causing a small impact crater to form.

Mousse rose to his feet with difficulty, "Never! I never surrender! After I defeat you I wil punish Saotome for leaving you in his place for this duel, and then I will surely win the heart of the lovely Shampoo!"

"Ranma.. what? He played us off of each other so he could avoid fighting us both? That coward!" Ryouga felt his anger and depression gain stength. "Why can I never finally get the chance to defeat him?! Why does one thing or the other always stand in the way of my happiness?"

Mousse couldn't really say much as an intense battle aura surrounded Ryouga. The onlookers who were standing behind Mousse scattered as anyone with an ounce of common sense would. "Wait, Ryouga, we can punish Saotome for this! We can..."

Ryouga yelled, "SHISHI HOUKOUDAN!!!!!!!!!" The heavy ki gathered into his hands, then shot out as a large beam of pure energy. Mousse was struck dead on and was thrown into the wall of the vacant lot, causing it to break apart, and then into another wall on the other side of the street behind it. The crowd looked wide-eyed at the damage that had just been caused, and those who had placed bets on Mousse walked home in shame.

Nabiki smiled as another one of her plans came together perfectly, and Ryouga shouted, "Where is Ranma? I still have to finish my fight with him!" Ryouga lost patience and ran from the empty lot, shouting, "Where are you Ranma?!"

Ryouga Hibiki: 19

Mousse: 3

My apologies for taking so long to write this battle. Also, I'm sorry for picking a match that was so one sided. As always, send in suggestions for fights, comments on the page, etc. Thanks.
