Ranma 1/2 Anything Goes Battle Arena

The Setting:

    Ryouga walked the streets of some unknown city, holding his umbrella above him to shield him from the rain. "Ranma, I will finish our duel once and for all when I find you again. But now I'm starving. I've been walking through the forests of Japan for days without a full meal... What's that smell? Mmmm..." Ryouga sniffed the air in front of him, and followed the smell to its source, Ucchan's Okonomiyaki.

    As Ryouga entered the restaurant, he recognized it immediately. Ukyou greeted him, and after chatting for a while about his travels, she took pity on the lost boy and gave him a free okonomiyaki. Two patrons entered the place, and Ryouga thought he recognized them from somewhere.

    The pair, a guy and a girl in their teens, walked over to the counter. The guy was the first to speak, "Why, hello miss. You look quite..."
 
    He was interrupted by the girl, who suddenly shouted out in a cute voice, "Oooh, that spatula is SOOOO cute!" She took the mini-spatula from Ukyou and hugged it, "Oh, Claudette!"

    "Hey! Give that back, I need it to cook!" Ukyou yelled. The guy took it from the girl and gave it back to Ukyou.

    "Here you are miss, I'm sorry about that, she really doesn't have any self control. Please allow me to accept your gratitude with a kiss." Ukyou blushed, but didn't make any move to resist.

    Ryouga remembered who they were... Mikado Sanzenin and Azusa Shiratori, or the Golden Pair of Martial Arts Figure Skating. Ryouga stood up and grabbed Mikado by his arm before he could try to kiss Ukyou. "Get your hands off of her... I'll beat you into the ground you pervert! Don't think I forgot what you did to Akane."

    Mikado looked at Ryouga with disgust, and tried to shake the lost boy's grip from his arm, but was unsuccessful. "I remember you... I've been waiting for this day a long time. I challenge you to a rematch on the ice! Azusa and I versus you and your friend here. We'll meet at Kolhotz High in exactly one week."

    Suddenly, Azusa realized something. She pointed at Ryouga, "You're Azusa's little Charlotte! Mikado, leave Charlotte alone NOW!" She menacingly wielded a fire extinguisher at Mikado.

    "What are you DOING?!" Mikado asked incredulously. "We're skating against him... don't help him out!"

    "Azusa won't skate against her Charlotte!" Azusa said, then pointed her finger at Ukyou, "If you want Claudette back, skate against me and Charlotte with any partner you want."

    Mikado sneered at Azusa, "If that's the way you're going to be, fine! I will skate with this beautiful young woman against you and 'Charlotte'. One week from now at Kolhotz High, the first side with even one person knocked out loses." He turned to Ukyou, "Now my dear, when shall we start our practicing for the match?"

    As Ukyou and Mikado talked, Azusa said to Ryouga, "I'm so glad I've found you again Charlotte. Now I'll never let you out of my sight again!"

    Ryouga wondered to himself if pairing up with Azusa was worth the chance to beat the hell out of Mikado, but eventually decided it was, and with his new partner constantly keeping watch on him, he wouldn't get lost before the match.

Commentary:

Justicar
    This one difficult. Ryoga may have the strength and endurance to outlast any of the rest in combat. However the last Ice Battle did end with Ryoga is P-chan. It could happen again. Also, Ryoga is a poor skater, he will be severely limited. Azusa is good on the ice, however I don't see her as a particularly strong fighter. Her specialty is her teamwork with Mikado. That won't be happening with Ryoga. Mikado is excellent on the ice and is fairly strong. So long as the battle stays on the ice he should be fine. His maneuverability should keep Ryoga at the disadvantage. Ukyo is an unknown quantity. I don't see her as skating particularly well. Yet, should she grabs hold of Azusa, it will hurt for Azusa.

Bradster
    Both Ryoga and Azusa will be going after Mikado, and Mikado will be trying to give Ukyou a kiss. Ukyou is too smart to try taking Ryoga down, and she probably couldn't handle a pro like Azusa. (Besides, she was drafted into this- I'm sure she could care less about the whole thing. ^_^) Even if Ryouga can't skate, Mikado and Ukyou are melee fighters and must come within arm's length to land a decent blow, which would be their downfall. Ryoga won't hit Ukyou, but neither would she be able to KO him. When _cooperating_ with her partner in her own element (ice rink), Azusa is fairly dangerous- when not distracted by cute objects. Ukyou would need to be very good on skates to be able to use her combat spatula effectively on the ice, and if she doesn't use it she won't be a factor in the fight.

Blade
    On paper, Ryouga alone could probably take out everybody else in this match at once. But the facts are, he's out for Mikado; he won't try to hurt Ukyou, and knowing how Akane doesn't like Azusa, they'll be a poor pair. Ukyou won't get along -that- great with Mikado once his nature becomes apparent, but this isn't really important, since she's really only interested in getting her spatula back. Mikado takes on Ryouga; Ukyou attacks Azusa.  By the time Ryouga can finish with Mikado (given his horrible skating), Ukyou will have KO'd Azusa, who is likely unused to being directly attacked.

    This is a joke right?  No!  Okay, then let's just point out two little things that will make this fight  go to Ryouga's team right quick. One, Ryouga could kick both Ukyo's and Mikado's tails (sorry Ukyo fans, but it's the truth). Second, Mikado is likely to try and kiss Ukyo during the match and get himself knocked out by her. In Conclusion, Ukyo's and Mikado's team is going to lose.

    Mikado is a skilled martial artist on the ice. He has many attacks making him a tough opponent. Ryoga on the other hand can barely stand up. That and I'm a BIG Ukyou fan. ^_^

    I can see Azusa protecting Ryouga with all her worth. Ryouga is a good fighter. I dont see Ukyou going all out for Mikado.

The Fight:

    "Today is a first for the skating club of Kolhotz High School. Our famous Golden Pair has split to fight in the Claudette Cup Competition." The announcer said through his microphone. "Let's hope that after this is all over, our great skating team will make up and continue to fight for the glory of our school!"

    A record crowd was present in the skating rink, which was really a swimming pool that had been frozen over whenever they needed it for a match. On one side of the arena, a group of Kolhotz High girls was gathered who were all wearing headbands that read 'Mikado Sanzenin'. On the other side, a group of boys dressed in pink held up banners that said 'Lovely Azusa.'

    "Now, our first pair is Kolhotz's own Mikado Sanzenin and the beautiful Ukyou Kuonji of Fuurinkan High!" The announcer stated. The two of them skated toward the center of the rink, a spotlight on them. Ukyou seemed full of restrained anger as Mikado held her close around the waist as they skated. The girls who wore Mikado headbands cheered out as loud as they could.

    "What a grand entrance! Our second pair is Azusa Shiratori of Kolhotz and Ryouga Hibiki of.... uh... er... Ryouga Hibiki!" The announcer said, frowning upon the fact that the young man didn't have a high school. The guys in pink started chanting "Azusa! Azusa!" Azusa winked at them, and then with Ryouga skated onto the ice. Ryouga looked a bit embarrassed as Azusa skated along, carrying him on her shoulder.

    "The first pair to lose one of its members by knockout loses the match. The winner gets possession of the spatula known as Claudette. The fighters are ready, so.... BEGIN!" The announcer shouted.

    Ryouga faced Mikado, who stood at the opposite side of the rink. Dressed in a black tuxedo with a yellow bow tie with black spots on it, he also sported a new Charlotte collar. He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth as he remembered the torment he had endured over the last week. Only a day after the challenge, Azusa had figured out how to turn Ryouga into his pig form. The lost boy hadn't any opportunity to practice his skating because Azusa wouldn't change him back. He had to listen to her over and over again about how cute he was as a pig. Now the outlet of his torment would be one Mikado Sanzenin.

    Ukyou faced Azusa, dressed in a frilly, tight fitting, blue skating outfit with the word Ucchan embroidered onto it. She cracked her knuckles as she recalled the suffering she had endured over the past week. Only a day after the challenge, Mikado had taken her to a skating rink, but he was more interested in trying to kiss her than to train her. Ukyou had to beat some sense into the jackass time after time again, and afterwards Mikado was in no shape to train anyone. All of the suffering she had experienced would be taken out on the little wench who stole her spatula and forced her into this, Azusa Shiratori.

    Azusa grabbed Ryouga by the arms and started skating towards the other pair. Mikado offered his hand to Ukyou, which Ukyou accepted. Mikado was surprised when Ukyou flung him at Azusa and Ryouga as a projectile weapon. Mikado was unable to dodge as Azusa swung Ryouga forward so the lost boy could kick him out of the way. Azusa wasn't prepared for Ukyou's follow up jump kick, however, which nailed her in the stomach, forcing her to lose hold of Ryouga. The two guys flew through the air and Ryouga landed hard on the ice while Mikado managed a more graceful landing.

    Azusa was angry, "You hurt little Azusa you bully! You won't get away with that."

    "If you give up the match now, I won't hurt you. I only want my spatula back." Ukyou said.

    Mikado skated up to Ukyou and put his arms around her waist, "But surely, my dear, you won't pass up the opportunity to skate with me. We'll obviously have..." He was suddenly interrupted as Ukyou punched him in the stomach.

    Meanwhile, Azusa skated over to Ryouga and picked him up again while Ukyou was otherwise distracted. She said to him, "Azusa will take good care of you Charlotte, but we've got to win this match!"

    "Fine, the sooner I get to beat the hell out of Mikado the better." Ryouga said, somewhat angry that Azusa was still calling him Charlotte. The pair skated towards Ukyou, who was yelling at Mikado for touching her again. Azusa let go of Ryouga and jump kicked Ukyou, sending her sliding across the ice on her back.

    Mikado grabbed Azusa by the wrist, "What do you think you're doing, you wench? If I have to hurt you to gain the affections of lovely Miss Kuonji then so be it!"

    Ryouga, who had been skating wildly toward Mikado since Azusa let go, punched Mikado hard in the gut. Mikado keeled over, and Ryouga brought his fist down on the back of his opponents neck, sending him to the ground. "Don't bully the weak, you jerk!" The lost boy stood triumphant, then lost his footing and fell down.

    Ukyou skated back towards the fray while Mikado rose to his feet and skated over to her. The two pairs looked each other over. Mikado was in serious pain after Ryouga's attack, but the rest of them looked ready to go on. Mikado leaned on Ukyou for support, and unfortunately he didn't notice one of his hands resting on Ukyou's chest. Needless to say, Ukyou was upset.

    "You JACKASS! How dare you grab my chest!" Ukyou screamed. Azusa and Ryouga observed this as an opening and skated toward their foes. Ukyou put Mikado in a full-nelson hold, which he was unable to break free from.

    "I didn't mean to do it, I swear!" Mikado defended, but Ukyou wasn't listening. Instead, she was holding Mikado up in front of her so the other pair would have an open shot.

    Azusa and Ryouga executed a double punch which hit Mikado in the face. Mikado slumped, obviously unconscious, then Ukyou booted him into the air and through the ceiling. "That's what you get you pervert!"

    "That's the end of it, folks. Mikado Sanzenin has been taken completely out of action. I wonder if he'll ever be able to skate again after this match. The winners of the spatula 'Claudette' are Azusa Shiratori and Ryouga Hibiki!" The announcer said.

    Ukyou fumed with anger as Azusa skated over to claim her prize. Ryouga clenched his fists and ran from the skating arena, "Mikado get back here, I'm not through with you! Just you wait Sanzenin!" Soon after, Ryouga was lost.

    "Oh no, where did Charlotte go? Charlotte!" Azusa started to cry as she soon realized that she was parted from her darling Charlotte once again.
