Martial Arts Style: Martial Arts Figure Skating.

Cursed Form: No curse.

Strengths: Mikado is a very athletic individual, and when compared to other martial arts figure skaters in the Japanese school system, he is among the very greatest. He is strong enough to fell hockey players in full protective gear with one blow, and quick enough to do it to several of them in a very short time frame (He and Azusa defeated 100 in 9 seconds). When determined to 'steal the lips' of a young woman, he will stop at almost nothing to get what he wants, which can make him a stronger opponent if he has to fight her male skating parter in order to get his chance. He has worked with Azusa for quite a long time, and as a result, they work very well as a team.

Weaknesses: Mikado's desire to kiss girls in the middle of his matches sometimes conflicts with his desire to be victorious in battle. When attempting to give girls his 'special greeting,' he often times leaves himself open for attack. He is also a very arrogant fellow, thinking that his charms are irresistable to all women, and that no man can stand in the way of his goals. Since he's most effective when he works in tandem with Azusa, he might not be as effective fighting one-on-one. However, this doesn't seem to be too glaring a weakness, since he does most of the Golden Pair's fighting.

Weapons: Mikado uses his skates expertly in combat, but is for the most part a bare-handed fighter.

Special Moves:

Mikado can perform a solo move called the Dance of Death. To begin, he stands on the tip of one of his skates, and begins to spin around in place. As his opponent approaches, He grabs ahold of them, and they are caught up in his 'dance.' While the victim is being spun around in the air near him, Mikado pummels them with punches and elbow strikes. After the opponent had been sufficiently battered, Mikado releases them from the dance, and they are launched high into the air before they land very roughly on the ground.

Mikado can perform the dreaded Good-Bye Whirl with his partner Azusa. In order to set this move up properly, Azusa will usually distract the opposing couple in some way. Ideally, she will end up in a position where she can grab onto the ankles of the opponent male, and cause him to grab onto the wrists of the opposing female. Mikado will then grab Azusa by the ankles, and then lifts EVERYONE up into the air above him. Mikado then begins to spin around in place, causing the opposing pair to be spun around in the air while Mikado and Azusa remain vertical, and in place. Because of the centrifugal force involved, the opposing male's strength is tested as he tries to keep the female from flying off. If the attack is a success, the male will let go of the female, who will go flying off. Mikado then lets go of Azusa, who flies through the air and slams the male into the ground, face first. Mikado will then skate over to the female, and catch her, proceeding to comfort her after being betrayed by the man she trusted.
