Do you live here in Japan and are you familiar with NTT Personal Co.? If you have your own PHS, try "cara-mail" service that NTT Personal presents. It is similar to pager, but the man who has received a message can immediately reply to the sender by using his/her PHS.

You can send a message within 70 letters. If PHS user whom you send message is not in the available area, don't waory, cara-mail service center can keep your message until he/she gets your message. Senders can send message(s) to PHS by using not only PHS, but also internet e-mail(i.e., even if you don't own your PHS, you can write to him/her PHS via e-mail).
