	Chuei is the second oldest of the Sou children, after Tamahome. I believe he is 10-13 years old. He takes the responsibility of taking care of his sick father and his younger brother and sisters in Tamahome's absence. Because of this, he has matured more quickly than most children his age. Chuei resembles Tamahome very closely, with his long dark blue hair tied back in the ponytail thing. In fact, he even confused Miaka at one point. ^_^.;; All good things come to an end... Suboshi of the Seiryuu seishi killed the entire Sou family (with the exception of Tamahome, of course) as revenge for the death of his brother Amiboshi with his Ryuuseisui yo-yo type things. Chuei tried to save his younger siblings by standing up to Suboshi with a butcher knife, while the others huddle behind him. Sadly, Suboshi showed no mercy and slashed them all to death with the Ryuuseisui. After Yuiren's death and Tamahome's face-off with Suboshi, Tamahome goes back into the house. He picks up Chuei and sees the knife in his hand, and he realizes what happened. Through tears, he tells Chuei how proud of him he is.
