At school, she meets up with Naru and Gurio to compare quiz grades. Usagi gets a 30, Naru gets an 80 and Gurio gets a 95. At lunch, Usagi and her friends discuss the secret super heroine Sailor V and then decide to go shop at Osa-P, a jewelry store owned by Naru's mom. (F.Y.I.:Osa-P is actually th nickname for Osabu- Naoko's editor!) There is a huge sale, and everyone is buying out the jewelry. Usagi realizes there is no way she can get anything since she spent all her money and leaves. On her way, she crumples up her quiz and throws it behind her. It hits the face of a man in a tuxedo, who teases Usagi and her hairstyle. As Usagi leaves in a huff, the man thinks to himself that the Osa-P jewelry store may be the place to find the "ginzuishou".

Usagi goes to the arcade to hang out with Motoki, who she knows as the arcade guy. While playing the brand new Sailor V Fighter Game, the cat she saw that morning comes in. Motoki says that the cat visits often, and Usagi laughs at its crescent moon bald-spot. The cat glares at Usagi and Usagi decides to head home.

Once she walks in to the house, her mother asks about the quiz. When she sees the grade, she throws Usagi out of the house. There we meet Shingo, Usagi's annoying little brother. Shingo runs in the house and locks Usagi out. Usagi cries until she is let in. She goes to take a nap and dreams that she is Sailor V and saved the bald-spotted cat when she is scratched in the face. She wakes up to see the cat talking and introducing herself as Luna. Luna says she has been searching for her and gives her a glowing brooch. Then she tells Usagi to say "MOON" which Usagi instantly follows with "PRISM POWER MAKE UP!" In a flash she morphs into... Sailor Moon! Sailor Moon hears Naru screaming and pulls off her goggles and looks into the lenses to see a monster in the form of Naru's mother attacking Naru while Naru's mother is tied in the basement.

Tuxedo Kamen observes Naru being attacked, waiting for a moment to sneak out of his hiding place and make his move. Meanwhile, the jewelry sold to the young girls begins sucking up all of their energy. Suddenly, Saior Moon bursts into the store with Luna atop her head. She introduces herself as a champion of Justice and defender against evil.... Sailor Moon!

The monster uses its power to summon the girls who bought the sale items in a possessed state. The girls attack Sailor Moon, who starts to cry with high-pitched shrieks that shatter the display cases and weakens the monster. Tuxedo Kamen tells Sailor Moon to attack and Luna tells Sailor Moon to toss her tiara and yell "Frisbee". Sailor Moon's tiara turns into a frisbee and she yells, "MOON FRISBEE!" as she tosses it at the monster. The monster is destroyed and Sailor Moon hears a familiar voice. Tuxedo Kamen introduces himself and Sailor Moon is instantly attracted to him.

The next day, Usagi reaizes after hearing Naru rant about "Sailor V's partner" that the happenings of the previous night wasn't a dream as she thought it was.
