Meanwhie, Usagi is arriving home from school and talking with Luna about finding more senshi.

Luna says she has found the second senshi. The next day, everyone is talking about the girl genius with the 300 i.q. - Mizuno Ami. They say she is a snob and she doesn't like to hang out.

Later, as Usagi is walking home, she sees Luna jump upon Ami and Ami rubbing her. When Luna sees Usagi, she jumps on her shoulder. Usagi introduces herself and realizes Ami isn't snobby. They decide to go to Crown Arcade to play the new Sailor V game. Usagi loses instantly, but when Ami begins to play she makes the top of the hi-score list as a crowd gathers to watch. A fancy blue pen falls out of the Sailor V game for Ami and Usagi beats up the machine until she gets one too. Ami tells Usagi that she has to go to her cram school and that she goes every day, since her dream is to be a doctor like her mother.

The next day, Usagi asks Ami if she wants to go for ice cream. Ami says she has to go to cram school, leaving Usagi slightly upset. Ami drops a disk as she leaves and Usagi picks it up. She walks home and on the way she is handed a flier for the "crystal disk" method with Ami's picture on it. Usagi crumples the paper and tosses it behind her again, and it lands in Mamoru's face again. Mamoru nearly hears Luna talk, so Usagi scampers off. Luna recognizes Ami's disk as the advertised crystal disk and takes it to the A/V lab to test it. Usagi bangs the computer, thinking it is broken and a subliminal message begins to play. Usagi and Luna dash off to the cram school, but Usagi thinks she can't just walk in.

She Thought Wrong.

Luna tells Usagi that she can use her new pen to morph into a disguise. Usagi yells, "MOON POWER! Morph into a doctor!" Usagi turns into a doctor and rushes into the school. When she reaches upstairs, she sees the teacher attacking Ami. Usagi transforms and tosses her hair pins at the monster like darts. The monster teacher then tosses razor sharp papers at Sailor Moon, causing her to cry shrilly again. Luna tells Ami to wave her pen, and suddenly a Mercury symbol flashes on Ami's forehead and the room is filled with fog. The monsters body begins to freeze. Tuxedo Kamen appears and supports Sailor Moon as she leaps at the attacking monster with her,"SAILOR MOON KICK!" Tuxedo Kamen leaves, and Sailor Moon finishes off the monster with her Moon Frisbee attack. The fog clears and... Sailor Mercury is there! Sailor Moon and Luna are happy that Ami is part of the Sailor Team.
