Later at school, Naru tells Usagi and Yumiko about her cousin's wedding. The groom is missing and her cousin fainted, so Naru had to try on her cousin's dress. All three girls sighed and wished they could be brides, when Usagi nearly trips. Makoto appears again and thells her to watch out. Gurio tells The girls that rumor is Makoto got kicked out of her old school for fighting. A boy approaches Makoto about her different uniform, but Makoto tells him she can't fit into the new uniform because she is too tall.

At lunchtime, the rain stops so everyone goes outside for lunch. Usagi spies on Makoto and her delicious lunch as some boys play baseball in the distance. Usagi comes over to say hi as a fly ball nearly knocks her out. Makoto hits the ball away and tells Usagi to pay more attention. Makoto offers Usagi some lunch, and Usagi starts munching away.

Later on, Usagi takes Usagi to Crown Arcade to meet Motoki and play the Sailor V Game. Ami comes in with Luna, and the three girls leave the arcade. Ami tells Usagi and Makoto about a strange rumor. The bridal shop outside the mall is said to be haunted by a bride's ghost. The mannequin ghost floats about after midnight, seduces men, and stuffs their bodies into mannequins. As for brides who buy dresses there, they will be possessed and their marriage will be doomed.

The girls head over to Rei's temple, where Rei's grandfather offers them jobs since they're so pretty. Ami and Rei come to their own conclusions about the ghost bride and their victims. Makoto leaves, and Rei tells Luna that Makoto may be the next senshi.

After midnight, the ghost mannequin finds Motoki and possesses him- to go capture Makoto! He starts seducing her as soon as he finds her. Usagi is at home sleeping when Tuxedo Kamen appears in her window and makes her follow him to Makoto. The mannequin is commanding him. Usagi steps out in a groom disguise (from the disguise power pen), then transforms with Mercury and Mars at her side. Moon tells the mannequin that she will not allow her to dress as a virgin bride and be a temptation to men. The senshi tell the mannequin that they will not allow her to use and take advantage of people. Makoto hears this, and lifts the bride over her head in a fury. The Jupiter Symbol flashes on her forehead. Luna tosses a pen at her, and Sailor Jupiter appears! The bride's dress falls to the floor; the bride was just Nephrite's shadow. Jupiter sees Nephrite, and yells, "FLOWER HURRICANE!" The flowers blind Nephrite. Then she yells, "SHOWER DOWN!" to kill him.

As Moon helps Jupiter up after she stumbles in exhaustion, Luna sees Kamen leave and wonders if he really is an enemy. Jupiter then tells her story: Motoki reminded her of a guy who broke her heart once. (As she says this, the men are freed from the mannequins.) She says she felt something important leading her to this place, Azabu. Luna appears with a crescent moon wand and tells Usagi she is the leader of the four senshi.
