The next day, Usagi leaves for school on time as Luna stays home to read the paper. She sees a shocking report- Kamen has revealed the ginzuishou's existence to the public, and now everyone is searching for it!
Meanwhile, Usagi, Makoto, and Ami bump into Mamoru. After he leaves, Usagi tells them that Mamoru is a guy she bumps in to a lot. Ami tells them about the story about Tuxedo Kamen in the paper, and later they meet Luna in the arcade with Rei. Luna suspects Kamen of being an enemy, which upsets Usagi. Luna tells them that the gizuishou is powerful enough to destroy a planet, their mission is to protect the ginzuishou and the moon princess, and that Luna came from the moon to awaken them. Usagi decides to play the Sailor V game, and notices the wand V carries looks like the one Luna gave her.
On a tv talk show, a "ginzuishou expert" named Professor Izono commands everyone to search for the ginzuishou. Once everywhere was searched, Izono hits a broadcasting switch that begins sucking everyone's energy. Even Usagi topples over and passes out. Mamoru sees her and picks her up. When Usagi comes to, Tuxedo Kamen is holding her, telling her to morph. Ami and Luna make it to the arcade, where Luna opens up a secret underground computer lab under the Sailor V game. The research computers are connected to the moon's host computer. Since the energy-sucking waves are being broadcasted, Luna can't contact Ami or Makoto.
Usagi morphs, and with Kamen's support she uses the wand to heal everyone. Then she faints. Kamen carries her fainted body away. When she wakes up, she is in a strange bed. She turns into Usagi and finds Kamen's broken-faced moon watch in her lap. The door opens, and Mamoru steps in.
