The broken moon watch appears and begins running backward. She remembers sneaking to Earth and falling in love with Prince Endymion although communication between the earth and moon was forbidden. She remembers when the Earth waged war against the moon, Endymion was stabbed in the back when trying to protect her and his planet. Serenity begins to cry, and her teardrop glows brilliantly. It turns into the ginzuishou. The light of the ginzuishou begins healing the sick, and its brightness makes Gurio (in his house with a telescope) wonder if a supernova is in progress. Kunzite remembers that the generals were reborn to find Prince Endymion but they sold their souls to Queen Beryl. Serenity holds the floating ginzuishou over Kamen's body. After a moment, the light spills out of the ginzuishou and it fall into Kamen's body. The light disappears, and Kunzite strikes again. The senshi try to pull Serenity back, but they drop Kamen. Kunzite catches him, makes a final blast at the senshi, and disappears.

The senshi and Serenity return to the Crown Arcade control room, where Serenity weeps. Venus asks Serenity if she remembers about her being the four senshi who protect the princess and the Silver Millenium kingdom. She says she remembers their past happiness and the fact that even then she couldn't sav him.She holds the ginzuishou, now like a piece of glass, and faints.

Meanwhile, Beryl revives Mamoru, knowing that she saw a fragment of the crystal enter his body.

Usagi continually has nightmares of Mamoru with his flesh melting and wakes up crying. She stays home from school for a week. Minako, Makoto, Rei, and Ami visit Usagi everyday. Her mother tells them that she hardly leaves her room or eats. When they open her door, they see Usagi, and her hair has grown super-long! They cut her hair and put it back up in her odango. Minako says her hair was long as the princess. Luna asks about the ginzuishou, and Makoto talks about the piece of the ginzuishou that fell into Mamoru. Usagi begins panicking about saving Mamoru until Minako tells her to pull herself together. Usagi doesn't know how to find the Dark Kingdom and the secrets of the ginzuishou, but Luna has the answer. They must go to the Moon.
