	Chinmoku no Senshi From the star of earth, I am the soldier of ruin and birth, Sailor Saturn! Sailor Saturn is as special senshi, almost as complicated as Sailor Moon. Hotaru is introduced at the end of volume 7. She lived with her evil father Professor Tomoe and Kaori the maid. She is very smart; she attends the Mugen Gakuen school. Sailor Saturn is summoned by the outer senshi's 3 talismans, so she only has one henshin. She is only to be summoned to destroy planets, apparently. Saturn also wields the Silence Glaive, a staff twice her size. It is very powerful; it can be used to destroy or recreate planets. Hotaru has a tiny, weak body that gets sick quickly but she has the power of a healing touch. She was killed in a lab accident, but Professor Tomoe brought her back to life and gave her some robotic body parts, since he was into creating cyborgs. Hotaru's best friend is ChibiUsa, since many find her spooky and avoid her. After she was reborn, she grew rapidly and was able to play violin and read difficult books within 6 months. She also gave the outer senshi their Crystal Power henshins. A question you may be asking: Whats with the Pharaoh 90/ Mistress 9 story?! I didn't quite understand either, until I went to the bssmc. This is the explanation, slightly edited as not to repeat information: Hotaru's father, the evil Professor Tomoe, gives her a strange crystal that begins to grow. The Witches 5 appear and attack the Sailors, and the outers are introduced. The nature of Saturn is soon revealed and they say Hotaru must be killed. One day when ChibiUsa came over to say hi, she saw the mechanical parts of Hotaru's body, and Hotaru got sad but the evil took over. In a rage she becomes the evil Mistress 9. As a minion of Pharaoh 90, she eats ChibiUsa's heart crystal. But the spirit of Hotaru still lives. She comes out from Mistress 9, and returns ChibiUsa's crystal. The talismans glow, and Sailor Saturn appears. Another question you may be asking: How did Hotaru end up with the outer senshi?! Saturn takes the Silence Glaive and explains to everyone that she must destroy the world and Sailor Moon must revive it. Then she tells Pluto to send her and the destruction through time to end the chaos, and Pluto agrees. Holding the Silence Glaive, Saturn uses her Death Reborn Revolution attack and planet crumbles. Pluto sends the destruction through time, and Sailor Moon heals the shattered world. Hotaru is reborn as a baby, whom the outers take care of. (This was also provided by the bssmc) My Personal Thoughts on Hotaru Hotaru has been misunderstood her whole life, from her strange powers to her robotic parts. I think she is one of the coolest senshi, however. Think about it: none of the other senshi can destroy a planet.
