    Mamoru started out as Prince Endymion of the Earth, falling in love with Princess Serenity who sneaked to Earth to see him. At that time, Beryl (as in Queen Beryl) unleashed an evil force in the form of Queen Metallia. As the Earth people were being summoned against the moon, Endymion tried to reason with his people, but to no avail. He was stabbed in the back while defending Serenity and was reborn on earth in the future. On his sixth birthday, he lost his parents and his birthday in a car crash and was given the name Chiba Mamoru. When he got older, he had a reoccuring dream about a girl with long hair asking for the ginzuishou. When he woke up, he would search in the form of... Tuxedo Kamen! As Mamoru, he would have short scuffles with Usagi until they saw their true destiny... *sigh* Mamoru married Usagi and became King Endymion of Neo-Tokyo.

    My Personal Thoughts on Mamoru

    I think Mamoru is a powerful character, saving Usagi as well as putting up with her (occasional) whining. He takes a lot of pain to make sure Usagi and the senshi are safe, and that's an admirable trait. I think he is Way better in the manga than the anime. Way cuter, too ^^.
