	Hi no Senshi From the star of fire, I am the soldier of combat, Sailor Mars! The third senshi, Mars is the soldier of fire. First seen in Act 3, her mother died when she was young and her father was a busy politician. She lived with her grandfather since she was a little girl. Her grandpa is the Chief Priest of the Hikawa Jinja (Fire River Shrine). Rei has two pet crows, Phobos and Deimos, which are named after mythological gods of the planet Mars. Phobos and Deimos were actually sprites that gave Rei her Mars Crystal in Sailor Moon SuperS. A young priestess like Rei is called a "miko". Her dream is to be the chief priestess of the shrine. Rei is known to have a slight temper and dislike men. My Personal Thoughts on Rei Rei is one of the most popular senshi, as you can notice by the many shrines posted on the web. I find she is way more pretty and less snobby in the manga than the anime.
