	Ai to Seigi no Senshi The soldier of love and justice, Sailor Moon! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you! Sailor Moon is the first senshi to appear, in Act 1. She was the princess of the Moon Kingdom called the Silver Millenium, and her name was Serenity. Serenity fell in love with Endymion, prince of Earth. Their love ended in a tragedy; Endymion was killed and Serenity comitted suicide in sorrow of the loss of her love. Serenity was reborn on earth as Tsukino Usagi, and her family (Ikuko (mother), Kenji (father) and Shingo (brother) are named after Naoko's family. a cat named Luna approaches her and tells her she is Sailor Moon. Later on Sailor Moon finds out she is Princess Serenity and becomes NeoQueen Serenity, queen of the future. Her true love is Mamoru/Endymion and her child is ChibiUsa. A question you may be asking - What's with the name Odango-Atama? Every year in September in Japan, the Otsukimi (Moon Viewing) festival is celebrated. Houses are decorated with autumn grasses and people place offerings of fruit, odango (special rice cakes), and pampas grass for the rabbit in the moon. People eat sweet cakes and chestnuts as they celebrate the beauty of the harvest moon. Odango-atama is the nickname for Usagi because the buns in her hair look like odango. My Personal View on Usagi I love Usagi, and i first fell in love with Sailor moon when watching the Sailor Moon DIC dub. I don't think I could handle the responsibilities she has, which goes to show how strong she really is.
