During my service time with the Royal Danish Navy, I also had the opportunity to travel with "INGOLF" on the west coast of Greenland.
"INGOLF" is a sister ship to "HVIDBJØRNEN", and the following pictures show more details of this class of ship.

Here are details of "INGOLF's" aft part with the helicopter deck. The helicopter type used in those days was French made
by Sud-Aviation and was of type SE-3160 Alouette III.
They were the first helicopters used by the navy,- and were in use up to 1982.
Also take note of the orange coloured motor boat.  It is NOT a life boat,- but were used for survey purposes.
