First a series of pictures of
the magnificent "Kruzenstern".
This is one of the big ones,
- 4700 tons and 114,4 meters long -, and rigged as a four mast bark.
Built in Germany in 1926 as
the "Padau", she is one of the four remaining "Flying P liners" , but after
the War she came under under Russian flag and is used as training ship
for the Russian Navy - - -
In this short series she is
photographed in the English Channel on March 28. 1989 - - -
