HONG KONG

Ferry to Hong Kong.
The "Star" ferries, -an institution
-, and a well known scene to all who visit Hong Kong.

Of all great cities in the world,
Hong Kong is the most beautiful and exiting - - -
(Yes, yes, yes, - I HAVE heard
about Rio de Janeiro, and I HAVE been there many, many times, but still,
- for me it is just a huge garbage dump full of crooks! Hong Kong
is NOT, - and furthermore I see Hong Kong as a sort of home, which in fact
it was for a number of years way back in the seventies!)
On this page I will not submit
too many of the standard Hong Kong views that all tourists see, - like
the stunning view from Victoria Peak -, but will mainly focus on some of
the spots that the average tourists never see.
How many visitors, - for example
-, are really fully aware of Hong Kong's great scenic beaty?
In spite of its small size,
it is amazing to discover the very big diversity and contrast you can find
here - - -
In a remarkable short time
you can move from some of the World's most crowded and noisy areas, to
absolute tranquility, peace and harmony!
It only takes a short ferry
ride or a pleasant hike to reach beautiful and peaceful surroundings, but
it feels like being a thousand years away - - -
Also I will submit some special
night time shots from the celebrations in connection with the reunification
with China.
There will be some other night
time shots as well.
And something about mountains
and interesting islands, - and people , - - - and much more!
Please enjoy my impressions
