Over the years I have noticed, that several of my pics can be found all over the World Wide Web, - displayed without my knowledge and permission -, and sometimes I also see, that the credit for taking the pictures are taken by others, when some "armchair" traveler needs pics for his "travel adventures"!

However, - there are also many copies of my pictures displayed here and there, which have been published in full agreement with me, - and with my permission.

In fact I am only happy to help out if an old friend or somebody ask for a copy of a picture of for example his old ship, - or whatever.
It can also be some non-profit organization that like to use some of my stuff, and if they ask for permission, I do normally not see any problems at all if they can use my pictures, as long as I find the purpose good, interesting and non-profit!

YES!  Photographs and paintings are for sale - - -

There is a lot of pictures in this web site, - mostly photographs, but also paintings -, and if anybody is looking for a particular picture for a magazine, book, post card or for hanging on the wall, - or whatever -, it is very likely that I can supply you with whatever you need.
My files contain about 100.000 pictures from my travels and adventures all over the World, and cover just about everything you can imagine, except for pics from outer space, which I have not yet had the opportunity to explore - - -
At present,- and for the next years to come -, I am working on a database for all my pictures, so that I can easily search and eliminate when looking for a particular shot, but so far I have "only" managed to file about 36.000 pictures.
However, - if you are looking for a special photo, I might be able to help you - - -
