Well..im not "LIVE from CALIFORNIA" anymore. as my boy MJ says: "SUUUUCK". =( yup yup. back in good ole philly.
Sorry for not keeping up with the journal my last few days there...but here are some quick tips and observations i made in my last 48 hrs in the Bay Area:
Shouts and thanks to everyone that made my trip that much more enjoyable: MJ - thanks for lettin me crash and takin care of me. you the man... even tho your apt is cold as shit. i got cha back next time; Dean - keepin me laughin all day every day; Chris - damn them Krispy Kremes were dope, right? make sure you thank your boss for me *smirk*; Darv and Hoven - thanks for letting me sleep it off in the back of the Xterra; Will - thanks for letting me get some good footage as the guys released their Hawaiian Drive-In gas on you. Oh and sorry to all y'all for dressing like "im a CLUB BOY!" *hand motion* on Friday nite. my bad.
and i'm spent.

Low key night yesterday...all the cats were either tired or too lazy to come out...so it was just me and my boy mj chillin.. mano-a-mano. it was cool tho. had some funny convos regarding health and being husky and all that..hahah. i am now at the realization that i am never gonna be size 32 and weigh 130 - but it doesn't mean that i can't be healthy, right? um yeah. lemme just go clean out my fridge and stock it full of veggies and fruit. *gag*
i cant believe its thursday already. time sure does fly by when you're having fun. lemme tell ya..im NOT looking forward to going back to my daily routine. not to mention that the weather out here is beautiful...im talkin like breezy, cool 50-60's during the day and comfortable 40's at night. man i was watching the weather today and lake tahoe, which is about 4-5 hrs from here (?) got a dumping of 17 inches of snow! too bad i didnt bring my skiboards with me =( and too bad i have to leave saturday. i woulda had a ball. maybe i should become a permanent trainee and travel all the time. that shore would be the life =P ...k - im out for now.

Had my first "BUBBLE TEA" experience last nite...my boys took me out to this place in San Fran. damn. THAT STUFF IS GOOD. i dont know how i ever missed out on it. for those of you who dont know what bubble tea is...its this chinese drink with tapioca balls in it and a flavored juice. thanks to mj..i had passion fruit bubble tea. damn. i never thought balls in my mouth would be good...but i was WRONG. =P
only bad thing is that its kinda tough to look manly when youre standing there suckin balls thru a straw. but i digress.

Didn't do much last nite...we didnt end up going out...so i stayed in my room and caught up on some much needed sleep. =) Freeekin slept from 9pm til 7:30am ..hheeheh now im well rested. I'm actually on break from training right now...they have a little "communications" area where geeks like myself can connect their laptops (33k phone connection though. sucks). Anyways...i wonder if anyone is reading this. i think i lost all of my readers during my one month hiatus. =P more later...

Wow...crazy night last nite. My friends picked me up at the airport (Thanks MJ and Dean!)...and we headed to Red Robin to meet up with some more friends that i havent seen since like '96. it was mad cool. nothing like seeing some old friends and laughing again =)
We then drove to my hotel...DOPE btw...damn thanks to the admin at work that arranged all this stuff. =) My hotel is smack in the middle of "Silicon Valley"...which is pretty cool cuz all the big dot-coms and computer companies are around here...i think between last nite and today ive seen the following company buildings:

Network Associates (makers of McAfee VShield)
NetGear (computer hardware)
mySimon.com
Cisco
Sun Microsystems
PeopleSoft
...kinda weird cuz when u pass all these bldgs - u realize this is where all the "magic" happens..hahahahah this is where the $$$ is made yanno? damn cost of living is high as hell out here though. my boy told me a 1 bdm apt is like $2000. NUTS!
aight well i went to bed at around 3am last nite (long story!) and woke up at 6am this morning (which is 9am EST)...so im pretty beat. gonna try and catch a nap before meeting up w/the fellas this evening. later. Shouts to Dean, MJ, Chris, and Will for keepin me smilin all day =P "mad-e-mad-ics" haha!

Yeah yeah...I know...its been a while. my bad. i actually havent updated my webpage in over a month.
wellz...here ya go. live from the west coast....i'll be updating this week from Santa Clara, CA... im here for training at the Peoplesoft facility. =P Hopefully i'll actually get something out of the class =)
anyway...check back here daily for new journal entries and hopefully some pics of my trip.
right now im on a plane on my way over to the west coast...and being the techno-geek that I am...i had to bust out my laptop and start clankin away. i wanted to get some words down before i forgot...and before i stick X-Men into the dvd slot here *smirk*
okie well i see the battery is quickly dying...and id much rather watch a movie than type...so ....see ya! check back soon!
