Here I am again with a weekend wrap-up...didn't do much this weekend. Stayed at my apt. and just chilled..it's been a while since i've done that - didn't go out...didn't travel anywhere, just vegged out and watched tv and messed w/the computer all day. Pretty relaxing, actually. Its good to actually do nothing sometimes u know? Not to mention that it was H.A.B. this weekend (H.A.B. = Hot As Balls) - and i didn't exactly feel like being outside.

I also figure that this upcoming week/weekend will be kinda hectic...so i better get all the sleep & rest that I can...because my friend's wedding is on saturday, and ima be busy all week w/wedding events: picking up visitors/bachelor party/rehearsal dinner/etc...

Anyways...I set up a network in my apt. this weekend =) Yep. I now have my own "mini-LAN" (LAN = Local Area Network) in my apartment. ahahah Pretty cool. Gotta give thanks to my friend John who got me started on all this network crap and gave me tips on how to set it up. =) Now I can transfer files back and forth easily between my laptop and my main computer, and when my DSL comes (hopefully soon!) I will be able to surf the internet from both computers. Dope. Can you say dual downloads 24/7? =)

In between messing w/my network, I had MTV running pretty much all weekend. MTV Movie Awards and Real World/Road Rules Casting Special 2000 were on almost EVERY HOUR this weekend. Man. I think MTV only has like 4 shows that they rotate around every day. I mean, by the 6th time that I saw that award show, I had already memorized some of the lines. Funny. I dont even know why I watch this stuff when it premieres on Monday or Tuesday nights. If I miss it - I'm GUARANTEED to catch it again on the weekend.

Gotta say though...if you havent seen either of these shows? CHECK IT OUT. Sarah Michelle Gellar was lookin pretty dope i must say. (Damn that lucky Freddie Prinze!) The filipino/black girl on the casting special was pretty cute too. So was the indian girl =) Did you ever notice that MTV NEVER casts ugly ppl? aahaha All the people on their shows look like models.

Oh...I don't know how many of you have seen the new commercials from Nike. But they're pretty cool. There's ones called ummm 'Shady Milkman' and 'Brutal Honey' - cool cartoon graphic commercials for these sneakers called 'PRESTO'. I always see these commercials and wondered what they were about...so i went to the website and checked it out. Pretty dope kicks. I was feelin' em. I actually went to the mall that same night to go try a pair on...but they didn't have the color I wanted. I'm feelin the black and yellow ones. Whadda ya think?
