like to construct your own robot, this is the thing for you. They come in varied
sizes, quality, and prices. Since there is a local supplier, they’re relatively
cheaper (in terms of yen-peso conversion) than other items. If you want something
that has your personal touch, takes some time of labor to finish, and make great
displays, this is the thing to get.

Item: Resins
Price Range: P500-P7000
Info: Another one which falls under the hobbyists’ category,
resins make great eye centerpieces. However, they are very fragile and if you

personalize and paint the resins, they’re well worth it.

Item: Artbooks
Price Range: P800+ - P5000+
Info: The perfect gift for those who want lots of pictures and can’t
read Japanese. Artbooks are chockfull of, guess what, art! They’re either in colored
format (which is often) or linear sketches and designer notes. They’re really cool to
get but quite expensive, especially if you don’t know a good source. One thing to check
if you’re getting a good deal is that the highest price you can pay is listed at the back.
If it says Y1000, then the highest price you should pay is P1000, give or take.
Where to get: Comic Alley, Anima Anime (Special Order), Specialty Toys,
Comic Quest, CATS (Not recommended since it is highly expensive at around twice or even
thrice as much as you can get from the other shops mentioned. Buy here only if you can no
other alternative).
