Next day, Teppei's late for work. Running in he greets everyone "Morning....morning...." Kurosaki replies with a "You're late! Katagiri!" "Sorry" says Teppei sitting down at his desk. Just then Yoda burns his fingers making tea "Ow! It's hot!" Teppei asks "What are you doing, Yoda-san?" "Riko's got the flu so she's taken the day off....can't be helped....hey, come over & help...." "Alright...." says Teppei walking over. Yoda grimaces "Great, scalded my fingers...." Another colleague says to Yoda "She hardly takes days off...." "That's true...." Teppei recalls what happened the night before "Don't treat me like an idiot! I didn't come here for that...."

After work, Teppei takes Riko's bag of magic stuff & goes looking for her apartment...."opposite the station....right of the parking lot...." He presses the doorbell but when no one answers, he tries the knob "It's open...." Going in he says "Jamashimasu...." standing at the foyer. Knocking at the door into Riko's apartment, Riko ignores him. Teppei takes off his shoes, muttering "coming in....", opens the door puts the bag down when a pillow comes flying at him. Riko yells "Get out Teppei you beast!" "What! I just brought back the things you left behind!" "You just simply walk in!?" "What 'simply'?! I knocked you should have answered!" "I've got a cold & feeling weak! Don't do anything weird or I'll scream!" "I won't! You should lock your door properly too! & here, I really came to visit & brought you this...." says Teppei putting a little potted plant on the table. "What's that?" Riko takes it "Saboten? (Cactus)" "Uhm" "Beautiful but there're thorns...." "It's not saboten, it's the meaning...." Riko looks at Teppei "You're mean! What "sabotten" (play truant, verb = saboru) I've really got a cold...." "But you look well enough so I'm going...." "Ah!" "What?" "Pass the pillow back, I haven't got the energy to go over there...." "You were energetic enough just now...." says Teppei throwing the things back that Riko threw at him earlier. "Bye" "Ow!! Stomach hurts! Hurts!" "Hurts?" Teppei thinks she's kidding "It hurts...." Riko moans but Teppei says "That's too bad...." turning to leave. Riko really looks like she hurting "It hurts...." "Are you for real?" Teppei comes over "Riko, are you ok?" & reaches out. "Riko yells "Don't touch me!" "I didn't!" "You've got the stomach flu? Do you have any medicine?" "Can you go out & buy some?" "You should go see a doctor...." "Anything's fine, just hurry & buy some....& some sake ben (salmon bento) too...." "You just want to eat something?!" "I'm just too hungry, that's why my stomach hurts...." "Stop kidding...." "I haven't eaten since 6 yesterday....really!" "No!" "Ask my friends! There were 3 of us....ow........" Teppei gets up "Alright! I'll go buy something!" Riko says "On the way could you get some cola, yogurt & TV guide....the yogurt's the one with little bits of strawberry in it...." "little bits...." mutters Teppei going out into the foyer. As he puts on his shoes "Take me for an idiot...." he looks at the garbage bag of empty instant noodle cups....

Opening the door Teppei goes back into Riko's apartment "You've got a cold & just eating instant noodles! No wonder your stomach's hurting!" Taking off his jacket & going into the kitchen "I'll make you some porridge or something...." Riko says in disbelief "Porridge? You know how to make porridge?!" Teppei looking in the fridge "Nothing in here....what do you eat to survive?" Taking out a cigarette "What a clean kitchen, you don't do anything....where's the rice?" "Rice....under the sink...." Teppei takes the rice, lights his cigarette & takes a pot "borrow this...." Riko stares at Teppei who asks her "What are you looking at?" "Am not looking!" Teppei says "Let me guess....you're thinking 'never thought that Teppei could cook, wow'...." "Idiot! What are you bragging about...." Teppei tells her "This is in return for the cake...." "Ahh...." "Surprisingly delicious....although it was messed up...." "So...." "How come everything I get from you is always messed up? onigiri....cake too...."

Finally done, Riko sits at the table "Itadakimasu" "Go ahead...." says Teppei "there's nothing much, only nori (seaweed)" "This will do...." replies Riko, about to take a spoonful but then looking a little awkward. Teppei tells her "Hurry & eat!" "I can't eat with you watching...." Teppei laughs "You embarrassed?!" "Really...." "I know....I know, I'll go....you take your time & eat...." says Teppei as he puts on his jacket & goes to the foor. "Don't leave any behind....I made specially for you....when you're up & about, put on a jacket!" Riko just says "uh...." as Teppei closes the door & leaves. Riko takes a spoonful "It's delicious...." she says with a smile. Walking off, Teppei turns around & looks up at Riko's apartment........

That evening at Soichiro's apartment Teppei surprised says "Yuinou?!" (exchanging betrothal gifts) Soichiro asks "Didn't you hear from mom? Because the both of us are really busy, Sanae's parents will be coming over....are you free this Sunday?" Teppei seems shocked, looking at Mizuhara all this while when he suddenly realizes Soichiro's waiting for an answer. "Hm?" Sunday...." "Ah, ah, it'll be ok, ok........her parents are coming? Then....that evening I think it's I think it'll be better if it's at a hotel....I'll make the arrangements...." "That's true...." Mizuhara comes by serving coffee, says to Soichiro "That's not a good idea...." "Eh?" "Te-chan is also busy....don't want to...." Teppei interrupts "No, it's really alright....aniki also has a lot of other things to do, right? Like going to see the wedding dress...." Just then Mizuhara spills coffee on Teppei "Sorry! Sorry!" trying to wipe his pants with a piece of cloth. Teppei says "It's ok, it's alright.... Mizuhara starts to say sorry but the both of them stare at each other. Flashback to the scene where Teppei says to Mizuhara "I will never call you one-san....for me you will always be Mizuhara, no matter who you marry...." Back in the present, Teppei tells Mizuhara "I'm ok, you just clean the carpet...." & telling Soichiro "....I'll just go to the bathroom...." In the bathroom, Teppei cleans off with a towel. Rinsing the towel in the basin, he sees a pair of toothbrushes by the sink....wringing the towel dry, he looks up into the mirror....

(-= CJ =- It's obvious there are still feelings between Teppei & Mizuhara....does Soichiro not mind? He can't be that blind as to not see it....)

Riko opens the door "Yes...." & Erika greets her "Hello!" "Oh!" "What's with you?" asks Erika looking at Riko's dressing. "I've got a cold...." Erika doesn't quite believe her "Eh? Don't tell me you're doing something with someone during the day & say that you've caught a cold instead!" Erika goes into the apartment with Riko denying "No such thing!" Inside Erika says "Smells like a guy's been here...." "Huh?!" Erika goes into the kitchen & picks up a cigarette that Teppei left behind "Aa....found traces of a man...." Riko says "That's...." Erika interrupts & completes the sentence "Teppei's cigarette....What's this?" Erika sees the cactus on the table & picks it up. Riko takes it from her "This....ah, not this sorry....you can look at other things but not this...." Right then the doorbell rings & Erika says "Is that your darling?" "Darling? What 'darling?!' " replies Riko answering the door.

"Coming" says Riko & opening the door sees Yoshimoto "Good evening!" Riko surprised "evening...." "I called your office & heard you took the day off as you had the flu....here....brought this for you....sent from my hometown so I don't know if it's sweet but if you've got a cold, vitamin C's the best...." Riko takes the oranges from him "Thank you". Erika comes out of hiding "Good evening Yoshimoto" & he looks a little flustered "Good evening! Well then, I'd better be going....take care...." As Riko closes the door, Erika says "How unfortunate....it wasn't Teppei...." Going back into the apartment Riko says "What are you saying? Didn't I already say that I didn't like him?" Putting the oranges on the table she crawls under the covers "Ahh....exhausted...." Erika says to Riko "When you say things like this it's risky.... Riko looks at Erika who advises her "When you like someone, you go straight for him don't you....so, be careful that you don't scare him away by clashing with him all the time...." "Uhm...." nods Riko....

At the Fu-ra bar, Teppei's alone drinking when the DJ comes up with a drink "Here....my treat....cheer up!" "Do I look that bad? So....ah....is Riko here?" "What are you saying? Coming here to look for people....won't get any good results (implying one will never find a good relationship with the kind of people one meets at Fu-ra)" Teppei sits alone, drinking, smoking & thinking....

Riko at home stares at the cactus plant Teppei gave her, a smile on her face....Teppei at the bar sits alone at the bar, moodily staring off into space....

At the prosecutor's office, there's a knock on the door & Soichiro at his desk answers "Come in!" Not looking up he points to the chair in front of him & the person sits down. Soichiro, eyes still on the document in front of him says "Then, let's start the inquiry....real name Shiraishi Nami....ah, as you have the right to remain silent, it's alright if you don't want to say anything...." Soichiro finally looks up & looks stunned to see the lady in front of him. The both of them stare at each other for a while, & then Soichiro finally continues "Why....did that thing happen?" "That thing? Nothing to it....just that the criminal's daughter is also a criminal...." Soichiro looks at her, closes the book on his desk & without looking at her says "This inquiry is over." "Why?" "I can't handle this case impartially....sorry...." As Shiraishi is led out, Soichiro says "If I had known from the beginning who you were, I wouldn't have taken on this case....because you changed your name...." She turns around & tells him "I got married...." "Is that so...." "But I was never happy....was always lonely....have been ever since you left...." She turns to leave & Soichiro looks at her....

Soichiro goes home & Mizuhara greets him "Welcome back!" "You're here...." Reaching out to take his briefcase from him she says "You haven't eaten have you? I'll go warm up the food...." Mizuhara puts his bag down on a chair & goes into the kitchen "Although it was only over the phone, dad asked it you were a trustworthy person....since mom died when I was in junior high school, dad's brought me up all my himself....now that I'm getting married, it's like he's relieved....like a load off his shoulders...." Soichiro simply stares at her. She asks "What's wrong?" "Nothing....I'll just go wash my hands...." says Soichiro, leaving Mizuhara staring at him....

On a barge, everyone is out entertaining a client "Ogasahara ??" Kurosawa & the other colleagues are singing some old song with peasant hats & swords, Riko & Teppei sitting on either side of Ogasahara. Ogasahara finally says "Enough enough! Stop! Kachou, this is ancient!" "A little ancient...." agrees Kurosawa. Teppei interrupts "Ogasahara-san, here, have a drink...." pouring some sake. Ogasahara says "Heh? You singing with them just now....why?" Kurosaki replies "He's new...." & Teppei himself says "I can't really sing....sorry...." "Really hopeless huh!" laughs Ogasahara & everyone laughs with him. Teppei doesn't look too pleased. Ogasahara asks "Then what can you do?" When Teppei remains silent Ogasahara continues "If you can't do anything, the least you can do is to dance naked for us!" The rest of them laugh. Finally Teppei gets up "Katagiri Teppei will dance naked!" taking of his jacket. The others egg him on but Ogasahara says "Idiot! Who wants to see you naked?!" "You right...." agree the others idiotically. Ogasahara condescendingly says to Teppei "You can't sing, can't dance either....what can you do? I there anything you can do better than others?" "I only have confidence when it comes to sports...." "Sports? Then can you play golf?" Teppei looks stunned for a minute & lies through his teeth "No problem!" "Ah so? Then let's have a round the next time....that'll be ok right? My father has a huge golf course in Saitama prefecture...." Everyone goes "Wow...." "I'll bring everyone there next time...." They all clap & cheer "How exciting! Thank you!" "Alright! Then let's all go together!" Kurosaki brags "There are a lot of golf pros in our business department!" Teppei grimaces....

(-= CJ =- When I saw this scene I went 'Hey! That's Shiina Kippei!' (Overtime, Itsuka Mata Aeru) I wonder how many people even realized that this obnoxious client Ogasahara was played by the guy....)

Still on the barge, the guys are singing but Teppei's outside making a call "Yes, this Sunday for one night....thank you....bye...." Riko comes up behind him "Wah!" scaring him. Teppei tips over "Watch it!" Getting up he says to Riko "What are you doing?" "Why are you here sneakily making a phone call?" "What sneakily? This Sunday is my brother's yuinou ceremony ....Mizuhara's father has to stay at a hotel for the night...." Riko says "Yuinou? Then they'll be getting married very soon...." "I guess....but my brother's really busy so whatever I can do to help, I will...." "Eh? You've come to that state of mind?" "Huh?" "Nothing....ah speaking of which....just now you said you knew how to play golf....you've never even played it before have you!" "Of course I haven't! What's with that 'My father has a huge golf course'....in general isn't golf for those beer-bellied people who can't play other sports?" Riko says "Can't be helped! Leave it to me!" with a big grin, slapping him on his back & then going back inside. Teppei as usual with a frown on his face mutters "Feel sick...."

At the golf driving range Teppei is practicing when Riko comes all dressed in golf gear. He hits a shot & goes "Ow!" "That's awful! Don't use that much force! Really!" "What's with that outfit?" "Golf is all in the mind....let this tiger show you....says Riko holding up her club with a Tiger head cover. "What's with the Tiger cover?" "It's a Tiger....what...."" "Alright! Show me then!" "Then don't get in the way....take it off...." Teppei pulls off the Tiger head cover "Hurry up!" Riko addresses the ball saying "Loosen up your body, relax....relax...." Teppei's sitting down & ignoring her so Riko says to him "Look here!" "I'm relaxed!" "Look!" "Alright....hit it!" Riko address the ball "Relax...." & takes a swing at the ball. Teppei says "Perfect!" & Riko agrees "not bad...." turning back. All of a sudden she notices a couple in the practice bay a little in front & her expression changes "Let's go....let's go...." She takes her things but Teppei says "What are you saying?" "Never mind....just hurry up" "You just got here!" "Doesn't matter!" "Really!" says Teppei annoyed as Riko tells him "Get your stuff!" Riko walks off & as she passes the couple she turns her back on them but the guy sees her "Riko!" Riko has no choice but turns around with a forced smile & greets him "It's been a long time! You're looking well...." It's her ex-boyfriend. The girl says "What are you doing?" Riko & Teppei turn to leave but the girl asks "Who's that girl?" Mitsuru dithers "Eh? Aa....that's ah...." However she remembers & boldly says to Riko "Ah it's you! That girl that Mitsuru can't seem to get rid of...." Mitsuru warns her "Oi!" Teppei turns around & takes out his wallet as the girl rudely continues "There are actually such people around! Have one relationship with someone like Mitsuru, a good man working in a good company , & then refuse to let go, just like a kobanzame (shark sucker, sucker fish)" Riko gets riled "Kobanzame?" Mitsuru tells the girl "Stop it!" Riko upset takes a step towards the girl but Teppei says "Wait...." Taking out a business card he gives it to the guy "Hello....sorry, didn't introduce myself earlier...." Mitsuru takes it "....Executive Director?" reading Ogasahara's business card. The both of them look at Teppei who nonchalantly says "That's just some title....it's only a small company with about 2,000 people....was established during my father's time....ah, you like to play golf? That! Really great clubs!" Teppei gives Riko his jacket & takes one of Mitsuru's irons "I've been wanting to get this....let me try it?" Teppei address the ball & looks at Riko who flexes her knees. He does the same, address the ball, takes a swing & hits a great shot. He mutters to himself "Wow...." & then turning around he continues "My father has a huge golf course in Saitama prefecture, takes about 20 minutes by helicopter....how about going together next time?" Mitsuru goes "Huh?" Teppei goes to Riko, puts his arm around her & says "Ah, next month we'll be holding our wedding banquet at Takana Prince hotel....will send you the invitation later...." They turn to leave when Mitsuru sarcastically says "No thank you" Teppei turns around but Riko stops him "The driver's waiting for us outside...." "Ah so....then bye.... turns to go but then turns back & tells Mitsuru "It's hard to understand the value of what you've lost huh...." Mitsuru can only stare....

Teppei waits outside the driving range for Riko, who comes by changed "Kept you waiting....sorry sorry!" "When are you going to stop bothering me?" says Teppei half jokingly. Riko says "Ah, really happy!" "Ah, did you see that last shot I made?" "I did!" "I'm tougher when it's a live performance huh!" "Not quite, not quite....from now on....ah, did you see that woman?! She had horrible taste! (in clothes etc)" "Ah really bad...." "....but....you didn't mean that seriously did you...." "huh?" Riko shakes her head "uh....couldn't practise today, why not come again tomorrow?" "Sounds ok....ah my brother's got his yuino ceremony tomorrow afternoon....but I'll be free in the evening...." "Really? Ah....so....then let's meet at Fu-ra, 7 ok?" Teppei nods. Riko says "I'll train you up until you can hit 250 yards....& then teach you how to putt....next Sunday, the Sunday after that....I'll turn down all my dates that's just for you...." Teppei looks at her in silence & Riko asks "What's with the blank look? Ah, you're thinking that 'Riko's really kind, must thank her....' right?!" "I was merely thinking that you're really cheerful....you've recovered from your flu?" "So, isn't it said that being in good spirits can cure an illness? When one does happy things, even the flu will be cured!" says Riko in a chirpy mood....

Back at home Riko drinks come water & touches the cactus "Ouch!" Her phone rings & she answers brightly "Hi Hi!" Yoishimoto answers "Riko? You sound really cheerful....that's great, you're ok now?" Riko realizes who it is & says in a more sober tone "good evening...." Yoshimoto takes an orange & says "The oranges I brought helped a bit...." "Ah, oranges?" Riko looks at the untouched bag on top of the fridge & lies "It was really delicious....thank you very much." "So....that's good. Ah, tomorrow, are you free?" Riko looks at her calender which has all the Sunday's reserved for golf with Teppei "Tomorrow, I can't...." "Then what about next Sunday?" Riko says "Yoshimoto, I'm really sorry....next Sunday, & the following Sunday....I'm busy...." "Then what about a weekday?" Finally Riko tells Yoshimoto bluntly "There's someone I like...." Yoshimoto drops the orange he had been tossing about "So...." Riko says "That's why....I'm really sorry...." "That so....well then, goodbye...." & Yoshimoto hangs up. Riko hangs up & soberly looks at the cactus on the table....

At the yuinou ceremony the following afternoon....a man says "These are the yuinou gifts from Katagiri-sama....please keep them carefully...." Mizuhara, prettily dressed in a kimono accepts them "Thank you very much. I will keep them carefully....forever...." Teppei stares at her from across the room in silence....

At the meal that follows, Mizuhara's father says to Teppei "&, your work....that 'eiko gizen....'??...." Teppei goes "eh?" Mizuhara says "Dad!" Teppei replies "No, it's the Eiko Agency...." "What sort of work do you do?" "I'm in the business department, mainly entertaining clients....play golf in the afternoon, go to clubs at night...." Teppei's father gets annoyed "What are you saying?" His mom also adds "Really....although I brought them both up the same way, these two brothers are so different...." Speaking of Teppei she continues "This boy, how shall I put it.... has always been rather unreliable...." Teppei takes offence "I'm not a kid, don't say that...." She ignores him "But Soichiro in our eyes has always given us peace of mind, he's more trustworthy...." Mizuhara's father agrees "He's really an outstanding person...." Soichiro seems to be out of sorts, in a world of his own, not saying a word. Teppei say to him "Say something! With you keeping silent, I'm only the one talking it's like I'm the one entering this arrangement...." "Ah....so...." Mizuhara's father asks "Soichiro, when you decided to become a public prosecutor, you were still in high school weren't you? Your motivation for doing so was....a sense of justice right?" Soichiro, not quite his usual self answers "No...." Everyone turns round to look at him. "During school days, besides studying, I couldn't do anything else. So I only wanted to use the name of public prosecutor to protect myself. Perhaps the most important thing was protecting myself...." Everyone's stunned silence until Teppei says "But you always had this sense of justice from way back....you didn't decide your career on such a frivolous reason...." "No, I did...."

Mizuhara, changed into a red outfit, watches a pair of newlyweds taking pictures outside, standing by the stream. Teppei come up to her "Where's everyone?" "Upstairs still talking to dad....I was thinking of going up right after I changed but...." After a pause Mizuhara says "Te-chan, Soichiro's kind of strange today...." "Yeah, you're right...." "These past few days, he hasn't been his usual self....although I know he's worrying about something, I don't even know what he's worrying about....I wonder....if he's changed him mind about getting married?" "What are you saying? No such thing!" "Sorry, I shouldn't be saying this to you...." "No, you can say anything...." "But...." "I'm serious....I take back what I said to you before...." Mizuhara nods & Teppei says "Don't worry....guys are like that....how should I put it....when something bad happens, we just like to go into seclusion & hide....during that time, we just wish that people around us to leave us alone....& be shhhhh (quiet)...." "Really? Perhaps!" & the both of them look out at the stream....

Riko at home finally picks an outfit & standing in front of the mirror, takes a few practice golf swings & says to her reflection "Should be alright...." with a big smile....

At the hotel Teppei says to Soichiro "Why did you say that today?" "Hm?" "On such an important occasion, even Mizuhara's father was trying to smooth things over....why did you say that sort of thing to ruin the atmosphere?" "uhm...." "Mizuhara's worried....that you don't want to marry her...." "No such thing...." "Then tell her frankly! Whatever are you worrying about....just tell her...." "You don't have to worry! Aren't you the one that's strange?! Are you that concerned about the both of us?" Teppei looks at Soichiro "What's that supposed to mean?" Soichiro replies "Nothing....I've gone to far....sorry...." & goes into the elevator alone, Teppei standing there with a grim look on his face....

At the Fu-ra club, the DJ announces "Today is Yuko-chan's birthday....Yuko-chan please stand up....right now we're giving out firecrackers, everyone join in & celebrate!" Teppei's alone at a table, cigarette in hand & drink on the table. With his back to the door, he doesn't see Riko enter. Riko sneaks in & goes to a waiter getting one of those party cracker things. As she turns around, she sees Erika come in "Teppei!" Riko for some reason decides to hide behind a pillar. Erika says "You're here! Ah, can I sit here?!" Teppei looks around undecided & then goes "Uhm...." Erika asks him "What sort of attitude is that? Waiting for a girl I'll bet!" "You're right!" "Riko?" "Good intuition...." "What happened to that girl? That girl you liked from high school...." "Ah....had the yuinou ceremony today....with my brother...." "replies Teppei with a wry laugh. "Ah so....then it's a clean break huh...." Teppei says "....clean break? Right now....not quite...." Riko's listening in the background. Erika says "If that's the case, then Riko's to be pitied....do you like Riko?" Teppei doesn't say anything. "If you don't like her, then treating her like that is ok?" Riko turns & walks away....

Riko goes home alone....Teppei at Fu-ra sit alone waiting for Riko. Finally he takes out his phone, trying to get a signal....Riko arriving home sees Yoshimoto sitting on the steps waiting for her. "Riko-chan...." he says coughing, giving her another bag of oranges. "You've got a cold?" "Looks like I got it from you....ah, this....you said it was good before so I brought you some more...." Riko awkwardly takes it from Yoshimoto "Thank you" "The person that you like....is Teppei isn't it? If so, then it's ok....then goodnight...." Just as Yoshimoto goes off, Riko's phone rings. Taking it out she switches it off. Teppei on the other end gets the recording "The subscriber you are trying to call is not available, please try again later...." Riko goes after Yoshimoto "Yoshimoto! Let's go out?" Eh?" "I don't....have anyone I like....I lied....do you know of any good dance or drinking places?"

Teppei tries calling Riko again but doesn't get through. He finally goes to her apartment & sees the lights on "huh?!" Impatiently pressing the doorbell a few times, Riko finally opens the door "What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" "Now isn't the time to ask that....why didn't you come? If you weren't coming you could've at least called, I was waiting for you all the time!" "Really? I guess I forgot....sorry....bye" "Wait! What forgot! We just agreed yesterday!" "Don't speak so loud!" Teppei looks inside & sees a pair of men's shoes in the foyer. "Uhm....who's here?" "None of your business! I'm not your girlfriend or anything....or do you think differently? that we're going steady or something?" If there's nothing else, then excuse me....bye...." Riko closes the door leaving a very annoyed Teppei outside muttering "You've got to be kidding...." as he walks off. Inside Riko leans against the door & starts to cry........

The next morning at work as Teppei walks by the corridor, he looks at Riko. Coming in side a round of "Good morning" s go off. Riko ignores him. Teppei sits down at his desk & starts to say "You...." but right then Ootemon calls "Riko, can you get these vouchers copied for me please?" "Yes" says Riko taking the documents from him & going out. She drops one on the way out & Teppei, picking it up follows her. Outside along the corridor he says "Hey! You dropped this!" Riko takes it & starts walking off. Teppei tells her "At least say thank you!" "I've got a hangover, don't talk to me...." & goes off....

At the prosecutors office along the corridor, Soichiro walks by Shiraishi, pretending not to know her. She says "Running away from me again? I wanted you to be in charge of this case...." "I'm not running away....If you have anything troubling you, you can consult with me....even on an individual basis...." Back at the office, Teppei asks Riko "What happened last night?" Right then Kurosaki comes in the office "Katagiri! Come here!" "Yes...." Going over Kurosaki says to him "Recently you haven't been concentrating on work....what's wrong?" "Nothing...." "Then take a look at this....Shinoyama said that your advertising proposal is terrible....the commercial done by the creative department has been commended upon by ACC....vexing isn't it, to have the credit taken by your former colleagues....if you can't take that sitting down, then you go out & get the business for us!" Teppei takes the documents from Kurosaki & then says "Then I'm going to Shinoyama Fu-zu...." & goes out....

Walking along the street Teppei looks at a couple walking by & remembers what Riko said to him at the golf course "....next Sunday, the Sunday after that....I'll turn down all my dates that's just for you...."

In the office the guys are having a meeting & Riko serves them tea. Ootemon says "The tea that Riko makes is still the best!" & all the others agree. They carry on with their meeting....Riko stands alone not looking too happy....

Walking along Teppei sees Riko coming in the opposite direction. Awkwardly Riko asks Teppei "Shinoyama Fu-zu....ok?" Teppei for some reason doesn't reply immediately saying "Uhm" only after a while. Riko continues uncomfortably "So, I've was asked to buy something so....bye...." & starts walking off. Teppei after a pause turns around & follows her "Oi!" "What!" "Wait!" "Wait? Cars don't stop immediately...." Teppei catches her arm "Stop kidding around!" In a serious tone he says "Tell me what happened last night!" "Last night?! Asking something like that, what are you going to do! Sex...." "I already said stop kidding! Why did you do something like that? Stood me up & then pretend that you forgot....turned off your phone on purpose....why did you do that?" Riko finally replies "I met a nice guy...." "Stop lying!" Teppei looks at her "Ah so....met a complete stranger & spent the night with him....so you're that sort of an easy woman too....I was completely fooled...." Riko gets mad & says "It wasn't some complete stranger....It was Yoshimoto...." Teppei looks at her as she says "Yes....I slept with Yoshimoto....we were together the whole night!" Teppei coolly asks her "Do you like him?" Riko doesn't answer & walks away. Teppei says angrily "Stop hiding, just say it! Or you can't say that you like him?! If you don't like him then don't do that sort of thing!" Riko turns around & tells Teppei off "Who are you to say that to me?! Hiding one's feelings & being with someone else....how lonely that feels you should understand that very well!" Teppei doesn't say anything & Riko asks him "Why are you to say that?! The person that you really like....the person that you really like is someone else!" Teppei looks at her & realizes that she must have overheard him talking with Erika the night before. Riko walks off muttering "Why say that?!" Teppei can only stare at her walking off....
