Riko & Teppei are cleaning up Teppei's apartment. Teppei chokes "Let's stop, there's so must dust it's dirty...." Riko cleaning the floor tells him "You're working all the time & never bothered cleaning that's why it's like this...." "What's wrong with that? It's easier to live like this...." Riko ignores him & says "Let's move the bed, help me...." "Enough already...." says Teppei but Riko refuses "No...." "will catch a cold with all this dust...." "Hurry up, get that end...." "You're really stubborn...." says Teppei but goes to the end of the bed. Riko says "Alright....ready...." & they both shift the bed to uncover a whole lot of magazines that were underneath it. Teppei quickly lies on top of them, trying to hide them from Riko but she sees them "Ah! Hiding them here!" As she picks them up Teppei tries to deny "I didn't mean to hide them here, they just slid down...." Riko knows better "yeah right....throw them out!" "Wait....stop it, stop it!" "Why?" Teppei takes the magazines from Riko "ok, ok, I'll throw them out....don't need this book anymore....high school girls...." Riko stares at Teppei "alright, I'll throw them out...." & watches as Riko picks up all the magazines....

Mizuhara tries out her wedding gown & going in front of the mirror the lady asks "How is it?" Mizuhara turns around & looks at Soichiro & asks him "What do you think?" "Look really good on you...." replies Soichiro with a smile. The lady says "Please wait, I'll come take in the width for you...." & goes off leaving Mizuhara & Soichiro together. Looking in the mirror, Soichiro asks her "Is it really ok with you?" "Eh?" "Coming here today...." "But we made this appointment long ago....if we didn't come here today, we won't make it in time for the ceremony...." "Sanae...." "What?" "If it still bothers you, we can delay the wedding...." "It doesn't bother me anymore....it's over isn't it....forget it already & look ahead...." The lady comes in "Sorry to keep you waiting, I'll just make some alterations to the width...." As the lady adjusts Mizuhara's gown, Mizuhara looks into the mirror & recalls what Teppei said to her "I've given up....so if you're not happy, I'll be troubled....I have to call you 'Onechan' (Elder sister) in the future....so of course I want to be happy for you...."

At the apartment Riko says "Teppei! What are you day dreaming about, in front of those porno books....you have me already...." She hops over the bed & sits in front of Teppei "Swear it! Besides Riko, I won't desire another woman...." Teppei mumbles "Besides Riko, I'll desire other women...." "You will?" "I won't!" They laugh & Riko says "Let's move the bed back? Grab that end...." Teppei slides over sitting on top of some magazines. Riko says "What's that? I saw that!" "Nothing!" replies Teppei but Riko grabs the magazine & looks at them. She whacks Teppei on the head "Sukebe!" "Why are you doing hitting me...." Riko goes "Can't believe this....throw...." but Teppei grabs her "No...." & throws her on the bed, lying on top of her "alright...." Riko says "Wait wait...." "What?" "Not taking our clothes of?" Teppei smiles & sits up. Riko sits up too & smacks him on his forehead "Sukebe...." Teppei grins....

Teppei has a meeting with the creative group "This product is made from recycled products so we need to take some completely new photographs with 'minus image' to hint at this ecological point....for example....a photograph of a naked baby in a rubbish heap...." One of the guys rejects the idea "I don't think using this 'practical joke' method will attract people to this new product...." "Me neither....on top of that, Karuzo Japan is a conservative company....when the person in charge hears of this, he'll get a shock...." Teppei says "That's why we need to convince them....no? Just following the rules won't produce good advertising....why not take on the challenge?" "Stop trying to play it so cool!" says one of the guys losing his cool, tipping the coffee cup & spilling coffee all over the table. Teppei says to someone "Sorry, can we get some tissue?"

Going up together, Teppei piggybacks Riko "98....99....100!" & drops her down. Riko says "One more time...." using Jankenbo (Scissors, paper, stone game) going Saisho gu...." when Teppei interrupts "Saisho what?" Riko answers "Saisho gu...." Teppei answers "Gu huh...." The both of them go "Saisho gu!" & Riko says "I win!" "Look carefully! Do you know how to play this?" Riko changes the subject "It's cold, let's run...." & starts running. Teppei goes "Wait!" & starts running along side her. Riko says "Katagiri-san, having won the competition, who are you going to celebrate this victory with?" Teppei answers "With my parents from my hometown & with my brother who's always better than I am...." "So it's Soichiro....& not the one you love, Riko?" "That's because I became strong due to the rivalry with my brother...." Riko suddenly stops running "Ah...." "What?" "It's Sanae...." Teppei looks & sees Sanae standing at the corner, waiting. Teppei starts walking forward "What's she doing here?" Riko says "Hey...." Teppei turns back & looks at her "I forgot....I actually made a date with Erika to go for Karaoke....to enter a karaoke marathon, sing 100 songs & get a little watch....so, I'll go now...." Teppei nods & Riko says "Bye...." going off. Running across the street Teppei calls "Mizuhara! What's up?" Mizuhara give him a bag "This is Kawane tea....it's from my father...." Teppei takes it "Oh, thank you...." Mizuhara looks at Teppei as if she wants to say something but then tells him "Then, bye...." "Wait....since you came all the way, come on up....let's drink this together...."

Teppei makes the tea & bringing some for Mizuhara "Here...." "Thanks...." "Smells really good...." says Teppei sitting down. "How are you & aniki recently?" "Tried the wedding outfits....everything's normal...." "Really?" "Soichiro's being really good to me....I shouldn't be worrying...." "Don't force youself....you're being too sensitive towards my brother...."if he's really seeing someone else, you wouldn't forgive him so easily....it's better if you're more honest...." "Be more honest?" Teppei nods. Mizuhara continues "But if I am honest, it'll be a bother to you...." "How come?" "Because I'll be complaining to you....might even come here everyday...." "I'll listen...." "No....if you're too nice to me, I'll become conceited...."

Riko & Erika are eating together. When Erika keeps on staring at Riko, Riko asks "What?" "Is it alright? Teppei & his ex-girlfriend togeter...." Riko smiles "It's alright....right now, Sanae is just worrying over Soichiro seeing someone else & she's feeling down....if I am around, they can't talk about it...." Erika tells her "You've grown up...." "Eh?" "For someone who has no patience to now understand (tolerate) this....just shows that Teppei's really a good guy...." "Uhm...." nods Riko. Erika says "Don't speak fondly of him...." "But it's true! All my boyfriends before merely put up with my selfishness as if they had no choice but Teppei's different. He says what he wants, clashes with me....but that makes me feels good....this is the first time I've ever been with a guy like this...." Erika looks at Riko enviously "That's good....maybe I'll grab him from you...." Riko looks at Erika who then says "I'm only kidding...." "Is that so....sorry, misunderstood...." laughs Riko....

Mizuhara leaves telling Teppei "Thanks for everything...." "Hang in there....take care...."

The next morning Teppei is outside the office building when Riko come up behind him & covers his eyes. He turns around & Riko says "Good morning...." Teppei's in a grumpy mood & sullenly turns to go in. Riko tells him "Teppei, your eyes are red....did you spend a passionate night with Sanae?" "I spent the whole night preparing for the meeting, don't talk rubbish!" Teppei tells Riko grouchily. Riko answers "ok...." Teppei lifts up his knee & says "Apologise...." Riko puts her hand on his knee "I apologise...." Teppei goes in, Riko runnning after him. He turns around & says "Wait!" intending for her to come in later....

Teppei & Riko enter the office at the same time "Good morning!" Ishihara says "Katagiri...." Teppei sees Ishihara & two other guys Ando & Sakai from the creative department & answers "Yes" Going over to the table where they're seated, Ishihara tells Teppei "This two have requested that the person in charge be changed....if you don't quit, they will...." Kurosaki says to Teppei "If you have something to say, I'd like to hear it...." The whole office is quiet & Teppei sits down. He says "The both of you are dissatisfied with me? Or with the gist of the presentation?" Ando answers "What bothers us is you....& doing everything your own way...." Teppei says "Then you're not objecting to the presentation...." Ando retorts "We're not talking about that...." Teppei cuts in "This plan was only decided after much discussion....I couldn't have done all this myself...." Sakai says "That goes without saying...." Teppei continues "Ando-san's 'Changing body' jingle....is a masterpiece....really....but that came about after everyone argued over & over again isn't it?" Both men are quiet, Teppei says "Sakai's design too....after all the hard work coming up with this, why throw it all out now? To the end....let's work together to the end....what's going to happen if we fail this time? Ishihara looks at Kurosaki, a look of understanding passing between the two men. Teppei says "Ando san....Sakai san....let's work together...."

Mizuhara at home speaks to Soichiro on the phone "Engagement party?" Soichiro tells her "Kashiwagi sais that he wanted to throw a party for us....he took the trouble, so I agreed....it's ok isn't it?" Mizuhara nods "ok...." "Tonight....how about having dinner together? I also have something I want to discuss with you...." Mizuhara answers "Alright, later then...." & hangs up with a sigh....

In the office, Teppei's working away on his laptop, everyone in the office watching him, not saying anything....

Soichiro hands his colleague a cup of coffee from the vending machine "Thanks....oh yeah, I got a letter from Shiraishi Nami....she's now working in a Kansai design firm....finally settled down...." Soichiro answers "Is that so?" Just then as Mizuhara comes down the corridor, Soichiro's colleague says "But thinking about Shiraishi Nami....breaking up with her just before getting married cause you were afraid her mother's imprisonment would affect your career....caused her much pain...." Mizuhara overhears & recalls what Shiraishi said to her over the phone "....he's that sort of person....he'll only protect himself & not care about anyone else...." Soichiro's colleague says "But that's ended well....the affairs of men & women, I don't have the right to say anything...." As they walk they see Mizuhara & both men stop, shock & guilt on their faces. Soichiro's colleage says "I'm envious, going out on a date? Thanks for this...." & walks off. Mizuhara looks at Soichiro with tears in her eyes. Soichiro asks "You heard everything?" "Soichiro...." Mizuhara mutters. Soichiro takes a step towards her but she says "No.... & runs off. Soichiro starts to go after her "Sanae!" but someone calls him "Katagiri san! You've got a call from Fujita san...." Soichiro watches Sanae run downt he corridor away from him....

Teppei arrives home. When he opens the door without using the keys he mutters "Didn't I say to lock it properly?" Coming in, turning on the light & taking off his shoes he says "I'm home...." He goes towards the fridge & seeing Riko in bed says "Did you catch a cold? I'm back!" going to the bed. Erika turns around "Welcome home...." & Teppei is surprised "What!? What are you doing here?" Erika says to Teppei "Have you forgotten? We agreed the last time...." Teppei mutters "agreed...." Erika says "This is a question for you...." "ok...." "Under this bed cover, I am wearing....1, Teppei's pajamas....2, only a black panty....& lastly.... 3, all nude....so which is it?""Teppei mutters thinking "all nude is a little boring....it's a difficult question, can I make sure?" Erika says "Please...." Teppei goes & looks under the covers "It's too dark, can't see anything...." Just then Riko comes into the room & kicks Teppei "Ow!" Riko says "You broke your promise! You swore you wouldn't desire anyone else! You liar!" beating him up. Teppei says "Wait a minute What's this! You were having me on?!" Erika gets out of bed & tells him "Riko wanted to test your level of honor (chastity) so she got me to help...." Teppei says disgustedly "Stop that...." Riko takes a sticker of the both of them & sticks it on Teppei's forehead "What are you sticking on me?" Riko retorts "Our print club amulet! For breaking your promise I'm sticking it there!" Teppei says "What are you saying...." Erika adds oil to fire "The most effective place is on the cell phone...." & Teppei mutters "it's none of your business...." Riko answers Erika "Is that right?"

Right then the door buzzer goes & Teppei, fighting a losing battle against the two girls, go answer it. Opening it he sees Soichiro "Oh, what's up?" Soichiro not his usual self says "uhm....did Sanae come by today?" Teppei turns around & asks the girls "Did she come?" When the girls shake their heads, Teppi turns back to Soichiro "No she didn't...." Soichiro mumbles "Is that so...." & turning to go, Teppei stops him "Wait, wait....what happened?" Acting rather strangely he answers "Nothing, if she comes by, tell her to call me...." Teppei says "Fought again? You should stop that too....this is the time when she really needs you....don't say things to let her worry anymore...." Soichiro says "What do you know about the two of us...." Teppei replies "I know, that's why I'm saying this....you're seeing another woman...." Soichiro looks at Teppei "How did you know?" When Teppei doesn't answer Soichiro says "She told you? she's even told you that?" Teppei remains silent, Soichiro turns & walks away....Back inside the apartment, Erika, in the rather awkward atmosphere says "I should be leaving...." Teppei asks "Why? It's alright...." but Erika takes her things "I'm going....bye...."

Soichiro walks along the street, his face expressionless....

Teppei lies alone in bed on his side, Riko looks at him & slips into bed. Snuggling up against his back, Riko says "Teppei?" "Uhm?" "Say something....anything, whatever you're thinking...." With a sigh he answers "Even if it's about my brother?" "Sure, I know you're thinking about your brother...." In a quiet voice Teppei says "I've never seen my brother cry before....even when we fought, the one that cried was always me....so I used to think that one that I'd make him cry...." Turning around on his back he says "But, when I was in grade school, 2nd year I guess....mom got into an accident & was admitted into the hospital....that night, sleeping on top on the 2nd bunk, he was crying....he must have been crying....people around were always saying what a good boy he was, how strong he was, so he was afraid to cry....I was only a grade 2 student, but I knew how hard it was for him....why am I thinking of this all of a sudden.... Teppei sounds sad & Riko looking at Teppei, moves to hold him, comforting him.... Coming into the office lobby the next day, Teppei sees Mizuhara staring at the directory board. Surprised Teppei goes over "Mizuhara? What are you doing here? Aniki was looking for you all over the place yesterday....have you called him?" "Not yet...." "Call him....hurry up...." says Teppei, taking out his cell phone. Mizuhara says hesitatingly "I need to talk to you...." Teppei nods "ok, let's go out...." As the two of them walk out, Riko comes out from the elevator & sees them going off together....

At a shrine, they toss some coins....Teppei asks Mizuhara "What did you pray for?" Both of them smiling, Mizuhara answers "I asked that your advertising project will be selected....what about you?" "Me? Of course that you will be happy...."

Back in the office Riko makes tea & Yoda's on the phone "Sawada is it? I understand....as soon as he gets back I'll get him to call you....yes, ok, sorry, goodbye...." Yoda hangs up & moans "Riko, have you heard from Teppei? He's been getting a lot of calls...." Riko lies "He called earlier, said that his meeting with a client has been extended so he'll be back a little late...." "Is that so? Thanks...." Yoda replies when Riko serves tea....

Still at the temple, Mizuhara ties a strip of paper onto a tree. Walking out together, Mizuhara suddenly stops with a smile, turns back & looks at a tree "Brings back memories, this ichou (ginko) tree....during the national competition, we came here & prayed too, that we'd win...." Teppei looks at her & says "Mizuhara?" "Hm?" "You wanted to talk to me about something?" Mizuhara smiles & says "After this happened, I've lost my confidence....I wonder if I've ever cared for Soichiro....Soichiro seeing another woman....I'm not talking about that....maybe it's not Soichiro who's heart has changed....maybe it's mine...."

Back at the office, Riko looks at her watch....it's past three....taking her cell phone she goes into one of the meeting rooms. About to make a call, she looks at the sticker of Teppei & herself on her phone, changes her mind....

Walking together, Teppei tells Mizuhara "Don't give up on my brother that easily....he's also trying hard to change too...." A group of ball players run by & Teppei says "No matter how tough a game, if one keeps trying there's always a chance of winning....Japan can also get into the world cup too...." Mizuhara answers "But even how hard one tries, there are competitions where one can never win....if it flows only in one direction, no matter how hard one tries, there are times when it's impossible to go against that flow...." Right then Teppei's cell phone rings. Mizuhara anxiously starts to say something "Te-chan, I...." but Teppei saying "Sorry...." to Mizuhara answers the call "Hello, that's right....eh? Haven't received the report?" Mizuhara sees all the print club stickers of Riko & Teppei on his phone....Teppei continues "As soos as I get back to the office I'll fax it to you....I understand, yes, bye...." Teppei hangs up & says "Sorry, I cut you off earlier...." Mizuhara shakes her head "It was nothing....you seem really busy...." Teppei nods "Been a little busier lately...." Mizuhara says "& I'm bothering you at this time, sorry...." Teppei shakes his head but then looks at his watch "Sorry, I have to go, see you...." "See you...." replies Mizuhara. Teppei walks off but a couple of steps later he stops, turns around & says "Mizuhara, you sure you're ok?" She nods & Teppei says "Bye...." then running off....

Coming home, Mizuhara sees Soichiro outside her apartment. He turns around & Mizuhara says "Sorry to have worried you...." walking towards the door of her apartment. As she is opening the door, Soichiro says "Listen, about the other time...." Mizuhara cuts him off "I'm sorry, I'd like to be alone today....tomorrow...." Before Soichiro can say anything, Mizuhara turns around & tells him "Don't worry, I'll definitely go to the party next week...." Turning back Mizuhara goes into her apartment by herself, leaving Soichiro outside....

Teppei gets back to the office "Sorry I'm late...." Everyone greets him "welcome back...." & Yoda says to him "Teppei! You had a lot of phone calls...." Teppei replies "Sorry...." Riko tells him "Shinoyama Fu-zu called earlier, asked you to hurry & fax the report over...." Teppei digs into his bag "I know, I'll do it now...." Riko slides over "So busy right now, where did you skive off to?" Teppei replies "I met up with Mizuhara...." Riko says "Is that so?" looking a little surprised that Teppei's telling her the truth. Teppei continues "She's really troubled about my brother....but it's better to let the two of them solve their own problems...." Riko's happy to hear this "Right....that's right....it's common for couples to fight once or twice before the wedding, even break up....so I think Sanae & Soichiro will definitely be alright...." Feeling happy, Riko takes the documents out of Teppei's hands "I'll fax this for you...." Teppei answers "It's alright...." but Riko insists "I'll do it...." Teppei give in to her & hands her his cell phone "Here's the number....thank you...." Riko goes off with a smile & Teppei sits back down at his desk with a tired sigh....

The day of the presentation arrives & Teppei confidently addresses everyone " 'Changing body'....changing body....this is the concept that our company has created for Ventuno's 21st century new brand project....as this company has targeted the new career woman....we have created the image of woman in space & in progress...." Riko turns out the lights & the images appear on the screen. Everyone looks a little tense, Teppei gives a little smile....

In her apartment, Mizuhara all dressed for the engagement party, takes out an envelope from her bag. On the front it says 'good luck charm'....turning it over....Teppei's written "Mizuhara ganbare!!!" (Mizuhara, hang in there!!!) She thinks of Teppei saying "Mizuhara, you sure you're ok?" & then sadly holds the envelope against her chest....

Back in the office Teppei & Riko anxiously wait. The phone rings & everyone turns around to see Kurosaki answer "Hello, this is Eigyou 1st division....ah, bucho, how are you? What? Go for a drink? That's great....but this Sunday's not...." Everyone turns back when it's not the call they're waiting for. Hosaka says to Teppei "Teppei, stay calm, stay calm...."Hosaki comes up as well & says "That's right....just now when the phone rang, the way you & Riko-chan were holding your breaths....I also felt tense...." Hosaka agrees "True, true...." Ootemon says "If we win the project, I'll treat everyone to yakiniku tonight...." Yoda retorts "Don't say that! It's unlucky....counting chickens before they're hatched too...." Tsuji adds "Right, right....on top of that, Ootemon, aren't you diabetic as well?" Everyone mutters "That's right...." The phone rings again & everyone tenses as Kurosaki answers it "Hello, this is Eigyou 1st division....yes, this is....yes....yes....is that right....I understand....then, next time....bye...." Kurosaki hangs up & says "Katagiri...." Teppei disappointedly answers "Yes...." & goes over to Kurosaki's desk. Kurosaki says "It's a pity....this time Ventuno's decided on Dai-ichi Kougoko....for a newcomer you've done well....on top of that you gave it everything you had even when the creative guys gave up on you...." Teppei says "But I....no, all of us did a good job...." Kurosaki tells him "Just because it's a good job doesn't mean that you'll win....but winning means it's a good job...." Teppei nods "I understand...." & goes back to his desk, Riko looking at him....

In a park, Mizuhara burns her highschool yearbook & photographs. As she puts the photograph of herself & Teppei in the burning pile, Soichiro walks by "What are you doing?" She goes in front of the bin "Don't look!" but Soichiro pushes her aside & takes out the scorched photograph of Teppei & Mizuhara. Looking at it Soichiro asks "Why are you doing this?" Mizuhara takes it from him, not answering. Soichiro says "Even if you burn all of these things, your feelings will remain....so don't force yourself anymore....for the sake of appearances....a marriage only for show....didn't you say you wouldn't do it for anything?!" Soichiro walks away & Mizuhara says "Where are you going?" Soichiro turns around "To the engagement party...." Mizuhara says "But...." Soichiro interrupts "You don't have to come...." Mizuhara looks stunned as Soichiro says in a resigned tone "It's as Teppei said....if I only I had taken better care of you...." Soichiro walks off as Mizuhara looks at him with tears in her eyes....

Teppei looking downhearted leaves the office. Riko comes running up to him "Teppei! Hey, what shall we do tonight? Shall we dance all night at a bar or go for something classical instead?" Teppei answers "Let's go our separate ways tonight....I want to be alone tonight...." Riko looks disappointed but says understandingly "Uhm....I understand...." Teppei enters the elevator looking dejected....

Soichiro goes to the engagement party alone. They cheer when he enters & his colleague asks "Where's your girlfriend? Coming later?" Awkwardly Soichiro replies "She's not coming...." "What happened?" "Thank you throwing this party for us but....we've broken of the engagement...." Everyone looks surprised "Really?"

Teppei walks by the shrine late in the evening & is surprised to see a figure there. Walking in & looking.... "Mizuhara?" he calls. She turns around. Teppei asks "What happened?" She says instead "Te-chan, what about you?" Teppei says "I lost the competition...." tossing in a coin with a sigh. Mizuhara says "Me too....I tried hard but I still lost....I don't have anyplace to go...." Teppei looks at her....

In her apartment, Riko is humming the theme song from 'Gone with the wind' & writing on a string of little flags "It's done...." She holds them up "Mess...."

Teppei asks Mizuhara "What happened?" Mizuhara turns away & starts walking not saying anything. Teppei follows "Did you fight with aniki again? He'll be looking for you all over, worried...." "No such thing...." "How come?" "He doesn't want to see me now...." "That's impossible...." "The first time I met Soichiro, I thought he was very strong....someone I could rely on....but there was always a very high wall between us....before I managed to get over that wall, I've run out of energy...." Mizuhara walks off but Teppei follows her "Mizuhara!"

On another piece of cloth, Riko writes some words & then says "Ashita ha ashita no kaze ga fuku" (literally, tomorrow's wind will blow tomorrow ie, tomorrow's a new day)....Riko" Holding it up "It's done...." she says with a smile....

Back at Teppei's apartment, Teppei & Sanae are sitting across each other at the table, in moody silence. Finally Teppei says "I still think it's better to call aniki & talk to him...." getting up to make the call. Mizuhara gets up & stops him "Soichiro....is not at home...." "How come?" "He's gone to our engagement party...." Teppei doesn't quite get it "Huh? He went alone? What's that supposed to mean?" "He said....I didn't have to go...." "Wait a minute....he asked you....that's not possible...." says Teppei picking up the phone again. Mizuhara says "Don't call....it's my fault! I'm the one that caused him to say this....that's because my feelings are not for Soichiro....my feelings are for you...." Teppei stares at Mizuhara in shock....

Riko happily walks along, holding the silk hat & humming. Walking past the restaurant she greets the Indian guy "Good evening...."

In the apartment, Mizuhara says "I kept telling myself it's wrong....to keep depending on you....but I can't help it...."

Riko walks up the stairs, smiling & practicing some moves with her silk hat....

Mizuhara continues "When I'm troubled, you're always by my side encouraging me....Te-chan I love you...." Teppei grimaces. Mizuhara goes behind him, puts leans on him "Te-chan, won't I do?" Teppei turns around, grabs her & kisses her....

Outside the door, Riko smiling, puts on her silk hat, about to knock on the door when she changes her mind & opens it. Teppei & Mizuhara both turn & stare at Riko, who's absolutely stunned. Riko in shock says "No way....why...." Teppei & Mizuhara don't say anything, can't say anything....Totally shattered, Riko takes off her silk hat, turns around & runs off. Teppei runs off after her, Mizuhara tears in her eyes, unable to stop Teppei....

Riko runs out of the apartment building, Teppei after her....Mizuhara in Teppei's apartment, tears running down her face....

Riko runs across a bridge, Teppei runs after her "Riko!" He finally catches her but Riko pulls away. Riko panting & in tears tells him "Say it was all a lie! Together with Sanae-chan....holding each other....kissing each other....say it was all a lie!" Teppei doesn't answer, can only stare at her as she cries heartbreakingly "You're mean....I've fallen in love with you....I only have you....can only see you....I can't turn back anymore....so why did you do all that?! You shouldn't have done that....say something...." Teppei remains silent & Riko shouts "Say something!" throwing the silk hat at him. It falls to the ground & the flags tumble out. Sobbing, Riko turns around & runs away, Teppei mutely watching, tears welling up in his eyes. Finally, he bends down, takes the flags & looks at them. On one Riko's written "Tomorrow is another day....cheer up Teppei! Riko" Teppei scrunches it & holds it....then watches Riko walking away in the distance....
