Attire: Momus wears
a tight orange/yellow shirt that is about 4 sizes too small for
him, seeing how the sleeves cut off before his elbows and the
bodice right below his upper chest. His lower half is covered
by a pair of leggings with footies. They start right under his
bellybutton, leaving his middle exposed for all to see, and a
white and magenta diamond checker pattern extends from the top
of the leggings to right above his knee on his right leg, and
right below his knee on his left leg. The rest of the leggings
under that is just white. His shoes are golden yellow clogs with
a brown sole and a clip strap going around his heel, keeping
his shoes on his feet. Over all of this, he has a long light
grey coat with short sleeves. A spring green is on the inside
of his coat and on his collar as well. And to complete that awesome
look, Momus wears his small ovular yellow glasses.
Spells: "Laughing
Gas!"
Momus shouts this phrase, then, begins to laugh uncontrollably.
While the victim wonders what the hell he is doing, Momus claps
twice and he stops immediately. The laugher is suddenly heard
again, but this time, from the victim. Meanwhile, as the pour
soul is laughing itself to a frenzy, Momus is left to do what
he needs to do. So, in other words, this attack gives the person
temporary paralysis, usually for a minute or two, (or until the
attack has been interrupted) giving Momus a chance to complete
his task.
For a senshi, this attack makes them feel rather light headed,
as if they had just blown up 100 balloons or have inhaled some
nitrous oxide. This attack can be avoided by simply...not listening
to him! Covering your ears makes it not possible to hear his
laugh and the attack is useless. (But he might try to walk up
and smack yeh if you're not listenin'. ><;;)
"Ostentation
Claptrap!"
Momus mostly says this with a wave of his hand. The victim is
then surrounded by two big hands. Momus can then use the hands
for a brief period in time (the most would be a little over a
minute if he has his mind on nothing else) to do whatever. Taunt,
move something, or mushing something. Unfortunately for Momus,
this attack isn't that strong and he must use most of his concentration
and his own hands to do this, or the attack won't work. For the
senshi, he can't move them, but he can certainly cover their
eyes, try and block them or tease them. There is no way to avoid
the attack, but if you can get him distracted (which is about
as hard as telling a knock knock joke or singing some song like,
'Mary Had a Little Lamb'), the attack looses power and the fake
hands fade away instantly.
"Dementia
Diffusion!"
Momus states this phrase then opens his eyes very wide, so you
can see the color of his peepers. He then moves his fists to
his mouth and blows some air as he opens his hands, as if they
were a fire cracker. A ten foot area is then covered with a magenta
cloud while 4' clown boppers appear, rocking back and forth,
each one laughing like a giggle stick. The clowns are popable.
Smack 'em, kick 'em, they'll just bounce right back. But if you
stab them with maybe a knife or poke them with a pointy stick,
or magically attack the buggers, they will break and disappear.
This attack does nothing but hold the person in the ten foot
area within the cloud with laughing clown boppers that sound
like giggle sticks. 0o;; It might freak out Automatonophobics
and Coulrophobics. (people who are afraid of anything that falsely
represents a sentient being and people who are afraid of clowns)
It is hard to try and avoid this attack unless you are not in
this 10 foot area, but if you can pop all the clowns (usually
there is about 7 or 8), you can get out without being bounced
back by a bopper before the attack fades away.
Weapon: Momus has no
weapon. Though he'll sometimes get his hands on gag gifts to
throw the enemy off. Chattering teeth, horn-in-a-can, stink-bombs-in-a-bag,
invisible ink et'cetra. ^^
Challenge:
He
has no specific phrase. It's really anything to get the attention
of others.
Symbol: A circle with two sharp flaggie triangles
near the top. It means 'fool's gold'. (In his old symbol, the
flaggies used to be rectangles)
