"A Normal Tuesday Morning"
"*Snore* heaheahea.... *snore*..."
Kassi slept on, completely under his covers, chuckling everytime he exhaled. So far, it was a pretty normal Tuesday, at 10 o'clock in the morning...
*BLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEP!!*
Kassi brought his hand out from under the covers and hit his alarmclock, which was already broken. The alarm continued. Kassi sat up, letting the covers fall off his head. He stumbled to the window, wearing nothing more than a pair of boxers and a white t-shirt. His normally squinty, rusty-brown eyes, were wide, and bloodshot. He strained his eyes as he looked up and seemed to shout to the floor above him.
"Ay! Turn that damned thing off!"
The beeping stopped.
"Go *out* for breakfast, why don't you?! You'll burn the freaking building down!...crazy nutters..."
Yes. A normal Tuesday morning. Feeling satisfied, Kassi rubbed his eyes and made his way back to his bed. Taking his watch off the nightstand and glancing at it, since his alarm clock didn't even show the time anymore. He grunted and ran a hand through his extremely messy hair. Kassi bussed his tired self to the small kitchenette, and nuked himself a nice hot bowl of oatmeal. He ate the oatmeal as slowly as he always did, then set the bowl in the sink, saying to himself he'd do dishes later. The bowl settled itself on top of a plate with some old potatoes, which had been sitting there for four days now.

After that nice hot shower, Kassi wrapped himself in a towel, and put his glasses on. He stumbled back to his bedroom, still not quite awake, and looked for any sort of clothes that were moderately clean, and didn't smell that bad. He really needed to do laundry. He told himself that he would do it later, and got dressed in a pair of khakis and a very small short sleeved orange-yellow shirt. As he brushed out several crumbs from his outfit, here and there, he made his way back to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
He let the toothpaste get into a nice foam around his mouth as he brushed away at those teeth of his. Kassi rinsed his mouth out, with a glass of water, and then smiled to make sure he got everything. His hand passed over the floss as he reached for his retainer and popped it in his mouth, wondering why he had to wear a retainer in the first place. He reached for his brush next to tame his hair. After much yelling, brushing, and styling mousse, Kassi finally had his hair just the way he wanted it...which, in actuality, wasn't much different from when he first woke up. A good comb would have fixed it. As Kassi pulled on a pair of socks, which, besides his boxers, were the only actual clean clothes he had, he made his way to the front door, grabbing his wallet and other things, thinking on how much of a pain this was. He slipped on some sandals, and walked out the door, and down the three flights of stairs. Five minutes later he walked back up the stairs and stalked back to his apartment. Kassi pushed open the door and muttered.
"Needtoremembertoomanythings, hrumph, wherearemykeys, theretheyare. *snort* It'stooearlyforworking. Whydidn'tItaketheafternoonshift..."
With
that, he closed and locked his door, stashing the keys in his
pocket, and made his way back down those three flights of stairs.
Kassi shielded his eyes as he stepped out into the bright morning
sun. He yawned as he made his way to the public school to start
another fun filled day of nothing. Yes. The typical Tuesday morning. |
