Hiratsuka isn't what it used to be during the Edo period, but there are many signs for historical sites, such as honjin, an officially appointed inn, waki-honjin (sub-honjin), ordinary inns, kohsasu-ba or place of bulletin boards (there are no ruins left at these spots, though).
